“Yup! She’s a fine ship, isn’t she?” He asked Kaku, though it was more rhetorical than anything. “Of course we can, this is your home now too, Kaku-chan. Kishishishi!” Moria proclaimed as the boarded the ship. It had a very Victorian architecture with dark polished cherry wood. The paint work was mostly black with splashes of dark red and purple, particularly with the velvety purple inner walls of the living spaces with the soft red carpets. 

Moria spent a little bit of time showing Kaku around his new home. Eventually he would need to introduce him to his daughter, Perona who was a bit younger then him, but for now he showed Kaku to a fairly spacious room. “This will be your room. It doesn’t look like much now, but we’ll go into town tonight and and pick up a few things to spruce it up.” The horn headed man promised passively as if it were no real issue.

The ship was bigger than the whole Facility! Kaku could not believe it! Everything was so interesting and new. Nothing was in tatters, there were no blood stains anywhere. It was quite the change of scenery for him.

When he was taken to what was deemed his room, he looked to the horned man. “...who else is going to be here?” He asked. This room was bigger than the quarters he had before - and he shared that room with about 50 other children as well. Surely this could not be all for him.

“Kaku-chan is it? Well Welcome to your new home with the Thriller Pirates!” Moria announced proudly as they stopped before a massive ship. It was no where near the size of what Thriller Bark would be in the future, but it was a very large galleon style vessel. “From here on just think of my crew as your family. You’ll like my Nakama, there the best!” The horned man stated with pride, both in his crew and the new little addition he’d found. Something told him that this boy was special and he was going to be a great addition to the crew.

With a loud gasp, the little boy marveled at the ship. It was much larger than anything he had ever seen, and he was greatly impressed by it! Leaning forward, he pointed at the big ship. “This is where you live?!” He asked, childish amazement clear in his voice and on his face.

He stared at the ship with a big smile. “It’s awesome! Can we go on it?”

“Trust me, boy, your gonna love it! Theirs no freedom like the open seas!” Moia reassured him before lifting him up onto his shoulders. “I’m Captain Gekko Moria. What do they call you, kid?” He asked carrying the young long nosed boy with him as he walked, his destination was his ship and crew.

The little ginger was shocked to be suddenly up on this man’s shoulders, but he could not help but smile. This was quite a high vantage point!

“My name is Kaku, sir!” He chirped happily, looking around. He was going to take advantage of this new found height level. “I’m excited to see the sea!”
