Sometimes I feel like I lead a double life. One minute I’ll be negotiating a contract and the next I’ll be at home with my friends. It’s always been like that, even at school. I went to class, studied for tests and had crushes on boys, and then after school I’d go downtown to Music Row in Nashville and write songs.

People need to RECOGNIZE this…

Surrounding yourself with people you trust, and people who are funny and cool and fun and smart, it only makes your life brighter. Be curious about things, have an imagination, get your feelings hurt, get your hopes up, be let down, dream about things and imagine the possibilities.. I think that’s what life is about.
