ALPHA

1. “Ne~ You know you aren’t supposed to be wandering off without your collar!”

3. “If I ever smell you on my omega again, I’ll carve out every single one of your scent glands.”

4. “Why are you hiding away in your nest like that? The pups are making a mess in the kitchen!”

Bucky grinned. “It’s part of your charm,” she admitted, easing up her grip on his shoulders as he hissed with pain. “You wouldn’t be the Steve I know if you weren’t always stickin’ up for what’s right.”

That was how they’d met, after all – when Bucky was nine years old, on her way home from school, and had seen Steve in the alley behind the smoke shop standing up to the Moretti boys, who were twice his size and meaner than junkyard dogs. She’d jumped in swinging to help Steve out, and they’d been inseparable ever since.

『☘』Steve huffed a laugh as he looked up at his best pal. 

“’ts hard being this charming all the time i tell ya Buck.” he snarked, he couldnt even begin to count the number of fights he had been in. Especially since the majority of them were talking and about Bucky. That was always his sore spot was some punk disrespecting her.

 Not that Steve would EVER tell Her that.

“Thanks, I keep such things in my back pockets for safe keeping.” The man shifts a bit as he looks over uneasily at the other men before them while standing just behind the young man’s side. Holding a book, he looks at the boy and then at the men. “Take it they aren’t your friends?”

『☘』 Steve rolled his eyes and nods.

“Not exactly on friendly terms.” The blond turned to the taller man.

“Take it ya know em as well?”

『☘』Stevie noticed how Shea had been shivering ever since they had left the bar. 

“Nah, ‘m too hot anyway in a coat, you need it more than I do anyway.” Steve brushed off her initial refusal. He noticed how she had stopped shivering almost immediately after the coat had been draped on her.

“So where d’ya wanna go next?”

Shea looked down as they walked, her face flushing a little out of embarrassment. 

“Well…thank you.” She actually did truly appreciate the gesture. She was almost always cold, she was used to it, but she supposed she shouldn’t deny the help that he was clearly willing to give. 

“Well…isn’t there some sort of carnival or festival or something down at the pier?”

   『☘』 Steve waved his hand, he was embarrassed that she felt the need to thank him for being a Gentlemen. he had been raised in a certain way, so it felt like it was a natural thing to give a lady your coat.

“I think there is a Carnival happening, lets go.” Steve smiled his american boy smile at her and offered her his arm.

Taking his arm without hesitation, Shea couldn’t help but smile at him. He really was one of the sweetest guys she had ever had the pleasure of spending time with, and it was nice change of pace.

“So, Steve…what did I do to earn the pleasure of your company today?”

『☘』Steve walked them along, thinking for a moment.

“ ‘Just seems like ya been stressed out recently. Figured we both could us a night off.”

Steve put his hand on top of the one in the crook of his arm. “asides, I need me some funnel cake.”

Shea watched him as he spoke, laughing quietly.

“I guess I have been stressed…I appreciate this. I really need it.”

Perking up a little, she squeezed his arm gently. “I haven’t had funnel cake in a long time. That sounds amazing.”

『 ☘ 』 Steve smiles brightly, as the Redheaded gal perked up at the mention of the Festival treat. 

“We’ve all had it rough these last couple weeks, ‘e deserve some time ta ourselves.” He gruffed as he lead them to the bright and noisy carnival. he could smell, the deep fryers and sweet smelling treats and felt his stomach start to growl.

“”m Ready for that funnel cake.”
