Woot! After much hardship this town idea has mastered the first trial, the staff review. Now the ball is in the player’s court - a specific amount of credits has to be donated to the town from the playerbase to show if the players want the town to become reality. Exciting! :D

As we’ve announced previously on the forums, the server will be going down for maintenance for several different things tomorrow.

At 8:00 AM on April 1st, the server will be whitelisted for approximately one hour. During this time, we will be doing several things to prepare for the reset of Skyblock, Survival, and Mineworld/Nether that will be happening on associated servers this evening, as well as the removal of RoyalCommands and installation of EssentialsX. Finally, AcidIsland will be used for the new season of Skyblock, meaning players will be able to sail between each others’ islands to explore! This will primarily be for pre-generating config files for us to write custom values into in order to give you guys an experience you won’t find anywhere else. However, we’ll also need to do some permissions testing for EssentialsX. The reset of the four worlds will be taking place tomorrow evening at 9 PM EST. This process should not take more than an hour, however, to be safe and account for any potential unforeseen issues I’ve scheduled a full 1.5 hour block to take care of things. Most of this will be us testing permissions and ensuring you have access to the same things you always have had, but we’ll also be testing some new things we’ll be adding into the soon-to-be-revealed revamped VIP rank! As a final warning, backpacks WILL be wiped post-reset. Make absolutely sure that you empty your backpacks out, and be prepared to not have a backpack for a short period of time post-reset and post-RoyalCommands. We’re in search for a new backpack plugin, and the one we’re looking at has a lot of nice options but we’re waiting on a few things to line up before we decide to go all in on it. We’re hoping to have that out within the next week. Thanks for all of your patience and understanding through these events. Hey Nerdcrafterians! Don’t forget we have a LOT of things happening on the first of April! That’s only two days away and it’s no joke! Have you gotten everything ready? Have you done everything you need to, to be ready for the changes!?
Here’s a handy list of things you should consider:
1. Screenshot your Skyblock island! That’s right, we’re resetting Skyblock, with a brand new plugin, called AcidRain. It’s going to present a whole new kind of challenge for those who love to live on the edge (No Edge!)
2. Screenshot your Survival homestead and set the sheepies FREE!. We’re resetting our Survival server as well! Take your photos for posterity!
3. On the economy server, be sure to clean up your shops in Mineworld, and reclaim your own builds. Both Mineworld and the Nether are getting reset on the 1st!
4. Empty your backpack! On the economy server, use /bp to make sure you’ve emptied out your backpack and stored your items. We’re temporarily losing the backpack option when we switch from Royal Commands to the new plugin, and are looking for a good replacement!
Are you ready!? Get ready to start all the new things once the dust has settled!

Hey there! What we did this week, you ask?
Oh, nothing major, just retiring the old main map we have been using for the last 3.5 years and finally opening up our new and shiny map for the public. We do have three brand-spanking-new staff-towns for you to explore and build in:
We also have countless acres of (as of yet) untouched wilderness where our other 12 player towns shall be. That’s correct, player towns shall be a thing again!
Anyway, head on over to /server nerdcrafteria to discover all that awesomeness. /mine and /nether will get you to, well Mineworld and the Nether (duh) and /main back to - you guessed it - the main map.
PLEASE NOTE:
We also have a new AFK-Policy in place as well as a slightly changed economic setup.
