Today one of my guineas, Twixxie, passed away due to old age. I wanted to distract myself and drew something instead. Lord Death is one of my main comfort characters still, so I drew him guiding her to the afterlife, inspired by the “Loving reaper“ comics.
Sorry this looks wonky, I was crying half the time.
2 years ago we adopted a Savannah cat. She was a very sweet girl. Always needed to be sitting on me or my husband. She would sleep under the covers with us and purr and make biscuits on my side. These past months she was eating less. I tried to find her wet food because I thought her mouth might be hurting her. She loved shredded cheese. If I opened a bag of shredded cheese I would look over my shoulder and there she was.
She was very lovey yesterday and we had a good petting session with purring. We left to go volunteer at a track meet and when we got home she had passed away at our back door. I never realized how much this cat stole my heart. I’m going to miss this lil old girl.
Rest in peace sweet old girl.
