The Karasuno setter chuckled. Seems his boyfriend was on to him. He’d had several ideas for a date, each one of them possibly as typical as it could get, but just to be sure and to avoid dragging Oikawa along to something he selfishly chose, Suga decided to tell him.

"I thought about the aquarium," he answered, still a little doubtful. But it was sort of a foolproof plan - and most of all, weatherproof.  "And some things afterwards - but those are a surprise."

"The aquarium?" he asked, raising his eyebrows in surprise. He wouldn't have guessed that. "Sounds great!"  Oikawa bumped shoulders with Suga, leaning down to kiss his cheek. "I'm looking forward to whatever you have planned afterward, as well. I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun."

Kisumi nodded knowingly, he knew well what Oikawa was talking about, they were both not taken seriously by the ones they wanted, much for rumors, misconceptions of their character. "You should try anyway. I… I’m not the best person to give you this advice because I usually hide my desire to go out with him with cheap flirtations but… I believe that if you make sure to show him it’s serious he won’t turn you down, or at least will treat your feelings seriously."

"Yeah, I guess you're right. I just don't want a confession to change the way things are between us, you know?" he mumbled, picking at the sleeve of his shirt. Oikawa froze, eyes widening at the realization of what Kisumi just said. He braced his hands on the table, leaning forward as he gasped, "Wait, who is this you're talking about? Why haven't you told me you have a crush?"

"Really?" Suga sounded happily surprised, he couldn’t hide his enthousiasm even if he had wanted to. He really didn’t expect Oikawa to be free so soon, so he was a little flustered at not having a lot of time to prepare, but even so he felt like he could walk on air.

"Sunday is perfect!" In fact, he could still barely believe he was going out with Oikawa… talented, good-looking Oikawa. But there he was, smiling at him, his arms around his shoulders. It was really true, and Suga finally dared to ask him out on a date - a real one.  "Hmm, at 10 in front of the station, is that okay?"

"Ten sounds great," he replied, smirking at how excited his boyfriend sounded. He knew Suga was a bright and happy person, but it was somewhat unusual for him to get this excited over an outing together. "You sound like you have something special in mind. Are you going to tell me, or do I have to wait and find out?"

Suga nodded, a gentle smile on his face. He knew Iwaizumi was a necessary factor in the team to keep Oikawa on track, and Suga would not get in between them. "I’m sure he can," the silverhaired answered. "So, er… I would uhm, like to go on a date, if you have a day off some time." 

Oikawa smiled wide, laughing as he kissed the side of Suga's head. They'd gone out with each other a few times before, but this was the first time Suga has suggested it, let alone call it a date. It sounded so official, it gave Oikawa butterflies. "I'm free this Sunday, if that works for you?" he offered, throwing his arm around the shorter boy's shoulders.

Kisumi smile widened, chuckling lightly as he leaned forward to gently pat the brunet’s shoulder "I understand, I really understand. But it’s still really adorable, I think you two would look cute together, but I’m not the one deciding here." He leaned back, finishing his drink with a long gulp.

The gentle smile the pinkette was displaying twisted into a sly grin, eyes darkening and narrowing, it was exactly the kind of thing he expected him to say. "Oooh, you’re always right, Oikawa, how could we be so selfish to do something so cruel with the rest of the world. That wouldn’t be fair for sure." 

"I'm sure we'll both find someone someday," Oikawa laughed, patting his friend's hand. "But seriously," he pouted, crossing his arms as a faint blush covered his cheeks. "I mean, I want to ask him out, I think... But I'm worried he won't take me seriously, you know? It's like he thinks every sincere thing I tell him is a joke."

Kisumi sighed, finally deciding to be honest. "You see, I asked that because I thought you could have a crush on one of your friends, that… Wing spiker you know since you were children. But you surely knows how to twist it in a inquisition, hm?”

He looked away dismissively, taking his drink and taking a long sip, averting’s the brunet’s gaze. "I don’t know how I feel about you, I mean, I wouldn’t mind to go out with you but it surely could fuck up our friendship."

Oikawa blanched. He hadn't seen that coming, honestly. He thought that Kisumi was just messing with him like he usually was–he hadn't been expecting him to be serious about it. "You mean Iwaizumi? I... I guess, yeah. I've kind of had a crush on him for ages, actually. I don't think he's ever noticed, though. And I don't know if I want to keep it that way." He had a good thing going with his ace, and didn't want to ruin the memories they shared if things didn't turn out well.

Oikawa considered Kisumi, who was still refusing to look at him, and continued, "I think you're probably right. I like you, but I think we're better off as friends. Plus, it's not fair to deprive the rest of the world from a chance at getting with us, right?"

The loving squeeze on his hand sent Suga’s butterflies up in the air again. He’d been astonished when Oikawa admitted to like him back, and just hearing him say that he was happy made Suga’s heartrate go up a bit.

He chuckled softly, and placed a small kiss on Oikawa’s cheek. Smiling, he looked back at his boyfriend. "Didn’t you tell Iwaizumi-san that violence wasn’t an answer?” He was also half-joking, referring to the countless incidents where Iwaizumi found it necessary to kick Oikawa’s attractive ass.

Oikawa's face lit up with an easy smile at the press of Suga's lips to his cheek, and he hummed in consideration of his comment. "Well, it's fine if it's not directed at me, you know? Iwa-chan can be very useful sometimes."

"I worked hard and conquered a lot of land today, Iwa-chan! How about a reward?"

"Wipe the blood off your face"
