- he pushed allura out of the way in order to protect her from very serious injury + death

- he put aside his own personal struggles and insecurity to support keith as the black paladin and cope with the loss of shiro

- he helped kuron despite him yelling and berating lance

- he is the only one in voltron that can transform his bayard into 3 different forms

- in a very high pressure situation, he was able to free slav in time using his bayard despite being very far away and it being an incredibly difficult shot

- constantly supports his team members and lifts their spirits

- didn’t attack a brainwashed hunk who was trying to kill him

- trains alone to perfect his skills with his bayard to be of use in battle

- tried to bodily shield laika to protect them after having known them for only a few minutes

This is not an exaggeration.  Your download speed would slow down to the point where Windows would make this kind of absurd estimate, and you’d sigh and leave the room for a while (because you couldn’t use the computer while it was doing this for fear it would crash and lose all your progress) and then you’d come back in 40 minutes and maybe it would now say 52 years or maybe it would say 3 minutes, who knew, not Windows.

Keith and Lance would be that couple that’s like disgustingly in love, like Keith isn’t so good with words but Lance lays on all the cute nicknames and talks about how pretty Keith is all the time. Keith stares at Lance fondly™ all the damn time and is almost always touching him somehow, whether they’re holding pinkies or he’s sitting on Lance’s lap.

They kiss a lot, usually cute pecks to different parts of each other’s bodies i.e. cheek, shoulder, hand. The other paladins constantly tell them to get a room, usually affectionately though (not Pidge).
