   The Rider’s rambunctiousness was met with a nod and a soft smile. The ways of a ‘scoundrel’, he hesitates to call her one as she was nothing of the sort, perplexed him. But he accepted it, he could do nothing to change her ways-- nor did he want to in the first place. “Of course. I’ll be sure to make the most of you with this contract. Having you and Sir Gawain stagnate would be terrible.”

   He sits as he was told, and looked towards her with an inquisitive gaze that hid his barely contained excitement. What kind of stories would she share? Would it be when she fought against the Spanish armada--something that everyone knew, or would it be something less known? 

   Payment for her story would be, aside from the money he promised--well, he’ll leave that to her whims.

Gawain

   “Miss Rin Tohsaka? I know quite a lot about her.” He answers with an ambivalent expression. He only heard and knew of Rin through whispers and reports shuffled along the halls of his home. It was only in the Holy Grail War that they met. “What do you want to know? Of course, you or your praetor will have to provide something of equivalent value in exchange. I’m certain someone of your prestige would know well the value of information.” 

      “I once cared for a cub. A lion, he was. You will not grow nearly as much as he, but he began like you. He was called –” A name! The babe nuzzled ‘gainst her skin is without one! Bestow one she must, “I realize now that I must impart a form of address. You cannot simply be ‘pup’. Tell me, friend, does the name… Alfredo appeal to you?”

   To be offered a name by the King would certainly make any Knight-- or creature for that matter be filled with joy and praise the high heavens. But alas, the puppy Knight already has a name, one that is known by the world, and certainly by his uncle. It has not come to pass through the pup’s mind that he is recognized a fluffy puppy, not as a Knight of the Round. He looks confusedly at the sleepy figure. A look of discernment and concern then appeared, Uncle, it’s me... Sir Gawain. Your nephew.

   That would be a no, King Arthur.
