Did she know she was done when this was filmed or did she decide to not come back after this was filmed?

According to Shonda she told her last Monday she wasn’t coming back. But in looking back over the season especially from 1217 to the end I am convinced now that Shonda prepared for the possibility as she knew Sara was thinking about it and Sara then confirmed it last week three days before we knew. It’s all right there on screen no matter how Shonda spins it. There was a shift after 1216 to start preparing for this. That’s my interpretation and I am sticking to it. I only think a select few knew about the possibility though so that is why they all seemed surprised.

I don't know why but I feel like JCap knows here. As well as Sara.

Me too, it's a major relief actually. The finale writing was terrible on all storylines.

It’s sad to see Sara go and her exit was not thoughtful at all. I choose to not get angry,or say I hate Grey’s, or I hate you Shonda.

Instead I choose to say thank you Sara, thank you Calzona, and thank you tumblr. Without those three things I would have not met the love of my life, the person who is my best friend, the women I now call my wife. They laid a foundation and a path for me to meet her and for that I’ll always be grateful.

Sara will be missed and the show won’t be the same but I will just be thankful for her character and what it brought into my life.

To all the fandom it is a sad day and hard day and I feel for you all! Our tumblr family is the best fandom out there.

Why did I just read about what’s going to happened in the season finale with Calzona and other characters? 

Looks like a interesting episode. 

Supposedly it’s Callie’s only dialogue in the whole episode.

What? But we know she has a patient from bts pics. Maybe we just see her working.

That bts could’ve been taken on a different day and used for that charity.

No there was an actual pic of her in the background with an actor. It was a Debbie Allen pic I believe.

Also, I’m certain an actor who worked with her tweeted about it and mentioned her and Debbie.

Maybe cut? Or is she just walking around not talking?

Why do we think she’s not talking in the episode?

The person giving spoilers said Callie has one line of dialogue and “it’s a bit of a doozy”

Also said the Calzona scene would be the one people talk most about after.

The only thing that would shock me is if Callie leaves.

I want callie to say she wants to leave cause being around Arizona is too hard, but now she is stuck. And it’s too hard.

My question is why is Callie so sad. Because of Penny or the custody and Arizona being so pissed? Please god, let it be custody!!!

Yes! Please let the “where Callie stands with Arizona” be positive and not negative! If it’s apparently the shock of the episode I’m guessing it’s good!!

But what worries me is ‘the shock’ is Callie decides to leave. Maybe I’m just being a pessimist and not wanting to get my hopes up.

Oh god, I really, really hope not. I guess it’s good to guess all options and not get our hopes up though. We should be used to let downs by now.

All they need to do is look at Grey's Anatomy, a female powered show, that's been destroying and out living 90% of shows out there. Not many executive producers can handle writing for women, like Shonda does.

Here is something I’ve been thinking about re; Callie and Meredith’s friendship. Meredith is the kind of friend who supports you no matter what. She’s there even if you are making stupid choices. Which, is good. It’s nice to have unwavering support. She did that for Cristina and does it for Alex, too. But with them, she always let them know when she thought their decision was wonky. She didn’t do that with Callie. She just blindly supported her. I wonder why?

Mark wouldn’t have. Even if he wasn’t part of the parental equation he would have had a conversation with Callie about what she was doing and why. Ultimately, I think he would have supported her no matter what, but he would have made her think it through first. I think he would have asked her the hard questions.

(I’m not saying Mark was perfect or a better friend, but I do think he challenged her more.)

I could picture Mark saying, " are you getting double d's because your girlfriend likes a big rack, and by big rack I mean NYC.? We'd actually know what's going on in Calzona's heads if Mark were still there.

They showed Sofia giving her a hard time regarding Arizona.

Yeah, I noticed that. Curious. I hope Sofia helps bridge the gap between these two.

As I mentioned in another post Sofia knows “something” is going on even if she doesn’t know exactly what it is. Kids sense when their parents are stressed and not getting along. That was part of why Sofia told Arizona she hated her. She is acting out because quite frankly so are her parents.

Is the little girl who plays Sofia scheduled in for the last 2 episodes at all?
