The Tories, and subsequently the UK, remains an absolute binfire.
Betty Campbell (1934-2017) was the first black head teacher in Wales. She held this position at the Mount Stuart Primary School in Cardiff.
Born in a low-income, working-class family, she nevertheless won a scholarship at the Lady Margaret High School for Girls, which paved her way towards a teaching career. She was a member of the Commission for Racial Equality and was awarded an MBE for her services to education.

To any UK follower of mine, who lives in a constituency with a Tory MP, PLEASE email them. Tell them that it can’t be one rule for the elite and another for the rest of us. I, thankfully, live in a constituency that isn’t Tory, but if I did I would email the heck out of them.
The government, and especially the Prime Minister, just threw out 10-weeks of sacrifice and hardship to save one of their own.
Cummings needs to go.

“I have received many emails expressing similar strongly held views disagreeing with Mr Cummings and indeed the Government’s judgement on the matter…I have passed the collective views of my constituents to the Government in order to ensure that the strength of feeling on this subject has been clearly heard. But I firmly believe it is now time to absolutely refocus our efforts on addressing the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.”
It was a very long reply and had some decent points, alongside the usual Tory bullshit of forgetting all about it. But at least I got a reply, and I clearly wasn’t the only one to tell him. Thanks again for the idea. x
Thank you for doing it! It’s a brave step to take. Not surprising most Tories backed their own, but it’s good for them to understand the level of anger there is out there. These people represent us in Westminster, they should hear our views. Actions like this can, eventually, bring about change. Maybe that MP won’t take their constituent votes for granted so much from now...One can hope!
