I will never see eye to eye with the zelda fandom because it adores himekawa manga where i have a hard time remembering the last time a piece of media made me feel like that picture of the orange cat the way their writing does

Akira Himekawa be like "hey can we take this simple and effective story and make it overcomplicated and also stupid as hell and can we please please please make it ten times as heterosexual please šŸ„ŗ šŸ™" and then theyre making an official manga

Everything I hear about Twilight Princess manga is cringe as fuck. If they dont write a zelink fanfic where beautiful gorgeous graceful divine feminine girl Zelda is crying gently over her hunky longhair female women protecting tsurime eyed ikemen Link at least twice a day they die. Its like noticing amogus wearing big shoes in the eye of a crying anime babe, cant fucking take this shit seriously and yet people DO.

Please point me to the direction of those thousands of villains who get redeemed constantly. I'm not doing a "gotcha" btw I want to see the secret haven of media with constantly redeemed villains that aren't characters in a preschooler cartoons-

Ganons hatred of Hyrule is completely legit and earned. What i want is not for him to be another Zelda lapdog, its for his pain to be acknowledged again. He was a smart, fiery man, with cunning mind and insatiable hunger for power, which he realized only in Wind Waker was the hunger for something he was robbed of - a sense of safety and being beloved by gods. But just like you cant catch and grab hold of the wind, you cant cut out and replace your pain.

Demise is his soul. His hatred and pain, both godborne and mortal, are inseparable. Imagine branding all those feelings as evil, imagine trying to fight it with tridents and swords and magic. If Ganondorf is ever saved, it should be by empathy and kindness, not by violently cutting ā€œthe bad partsā€ out.

YUP...... yall im hurtin šŸ¤§šŸ˜” its like, its HALFWAY there. Its not Dragon Quest where nothing interesting is happening by design and you dont have to expect anything at all. Zelda has these fantastic moments that make you feel like youre gonna witness something that feels true and beautiful and then it just doesnt and it makes me wanna tear my hair out. Its like if Shadow of the Colossus was like yeah... killing giants is the correct action. And then you feel stupid for caring lol

The most painful thing is that even though the Ouroboros thing is such an obviously cool amazing and interesting direction to take and explore, none of it will be in the actual game. It just wont. I really want to be wrong but zelda ignored opportunities to say the quiet part loud since WW.

Its called TEARS of the kingdom. We are always supposed to feel bad for hyrule even though the bad stuff that happened to them is a direct result of their aggressions. Zelda with the wet eyes is the real victim, not whatever stupid ugly that got disappeared and tortured in a shadow temple.

The fact that fandom genuinely, honestly, absolutely believes demises curse is literally some weird black magic and not, like, a symbol of Hyrules war crimes and hoarding of resources biting them in the ass, and their genuine belief that WW is completely separated from the themes of other games makes me feel like im doing insanity pills.

Girlies, all those hours playing botw and none of them included reading the NPC dialogue describing what, like, happened to Yiga? Only i did that. And ive been paying for this ever since

If you wanna know how i am rn the answer is i cry every day and theres no relief im so scared and feel so isolated i can only relate to people directly in my situation and its only been a week and im crying right now i can only calm down if i stop thinking for even a little bit and every day a barrage of bad news happening and i get to see people in other countries sharing a laugh or an epic meme about it and then go on with their happy little lives all while my life is crumbling and the help will never come i dont want to wake up
