It wasn't that she didn't enjoy her time there in fact surprising to most even if some of the training may have been a little hard the people there did what they could to help after everything that happened before, true enough talking was still a little hard for her to openly do around many other people yet Aiko tried her best even if it might have only been small words.

It couldn't be helped that in a small way she preferred to be around Lucci giving a small shake of her head slowly stepping forward. Wrapping both arms around his leg pressing her forehead against his leg.

After a bit of running around thankfully with how well kept this place was. There shouldn't or wouldn't need to worry about either those little paws of hers to get dirty moments after of searching around trotting right out from behind some bushes bounding over towards him with a live squirrel in between those small jaws of hers, small fluffy tag waging for a moment sitting in front of him.

Lucci looked at her. The squirrel was flailing around wildly in her mouth, trying to escape.

"What do you wish to do with that squirrel, little Aiko?", he asked. He knew there might not be an answer. Sometimes the instincts of a carnivorous zoan just took over, and you had to catch something. It was good to let those urges out sometimes.

"I have mastered the Rokushiki or Six Arts, which allow me to perform feats greater than humanly possible", he answered. "And I suppose the devil's fruit you ate relates to your mask in some way?"

While he was talking, he'd finished checking the entire boat. It was in fine condition, ready to set sail, so he untied the knot mooring it to a larger ship.

Lucci watched as the pirate base slowly got further and further away from them. If no people found it and made off with the valuables and useables inside, the winds and the waves would eventually turn it into a floating pile of driftwood.

He glanced back at Zelda. "Still, it must be a great boon in any situation that allows for even minimal preparation time."

"It can be with the right information too. while it's easy enough to switch putting on the wrong mask can be really bad in a fight....I have a few scars to prove that." she smiled. "So why are you on your own? I feel like I might have asked this already but I don't remember."

"The organisation I was working for abandoned me after a grave failure on my part", he answered. "I am still working to rectify that failure."

The sails were now catching as much of the lackluster wind as they could, so Lucci took the rudder and corrected the little boat's course for the nearest island with a marine base.

Zelda was glad she asked the way she did it allowed her to gather a little more information on what this world had and the power system which seemed to the most varied between the worlds she's traveled. "Yea...Kinda. The best way I can explain it is the Mask help focus the power I have in different ways." That was the best way she felt she could explain it without giving too much away and blowing her cover of where she was from. "I have a total of Six mask." she pulls off the sling and shows the mask in question. There was a red one with a dragon shape to it, a blue wavey looking one, the white one with odd symbols that she had on when she first showed up, Another that looked like a hawk, another white one that was plain, and the last one wasn't really a mask but more of a headdress but it had ram horns and a tone of plants on it. "Each one has two stages that get stronger but harder to control."

"And what does each mask aid you in focusing on, if I may ask?", he asked. He figured she didn't want to explain everything to him just yet, but he did want to know what he could roughly expect out of her. Then again, he wasn't going to tell her everything he could do just yet either.

Meanwhile, he started untying the ropes tying up the sail on one end. "Could you untie these on your side of the boat as well, please."

"Well the quick summary is." she hold's up the first white mask. "Allows me to change how i fight making it harder to hit me and for me to be able to cut through anything" she didn't want to mention the time manipulation she could do with it. she held up the dragon mask. "This one gives me strength and i'm immune to fire or lava." holding up the blue wavy mask. "This one allows me to swim like a fish and breath underwater" she said not knowing that the fact that it allowed her to be in water was rather strange for this worlds power system. next the hawk mask. "This gives me wings and allows me to control the air around me." The other white mask. "I become ghost like" then the headdress "Allows me to gain energy in the sun, gives me control over plants and animals." After she finished explaining the mask she did as she was told with as she untied the ropes.

The sail unfurled and caught the wind, allowing the ship to start moving. Lucci grabbed the right rope and tied it down, steadying the sail. He'd steer it in the right direction once they were away from the pirate base.

"You have rather interesting powers", he told her. "I would not have dared dream of a devil's fruit that allows its eater to perform so many feats, including swimming in water."

He didn't feel the need for fake names this time around, so he replied with: "And you may call me Lucci."

"Travel would be faster if we do not have to anchor our vessel to sleep", he continued. "I trust you have some experience in sailing?"

That's something Zelda didn't consider, for the most part she's been on land and not really on the water. She thought she understood the concept of sailing, just follow the wind with the sail but now thinking about it and seeing the ship in person it was clear there was more to it. And unkown to her was how harsh this worlds waters could really be. "I understand the concept of it" she said with a nervousness to her words.

He thought about her words for a second, then replied: "I think it is wiser to anchor while I sleep, then. I do not wish to enter rough waters with only an inexperienced sailor steering the boat."

"You know that's fair I can still be look out while we are anchored at the very least." Zelda remarked. "I can even help with fishing and what not that is something i for sure can do to help out." Zelda placed her bag into the room before heading on deck again. "So where are we going next? I'm assuming somewhere to turn in the bounties?"

He nodded, and said: "The nearest islands are all varying degrees of lawless. They must have felt safe here because of that. But beyond the island to the west, there is an island with a marine base. I am planning to turn the captain's head in for the bounty there."

"Sounds like you have a plan." Zelda looked to lucci. "What do you need me to do for us to set sail." (to speed it up a little bit I'll rp a little bit after they had set off, I give you permission to control Zelda here to help Lucci with leaving) With their heading in sight and the wind picking up Zelda took off her sling with her swords and mask sitting down near the front. "Since it seems we have a little bit before we arrive" she turned to face Lucci. "It seems only fitting we get to know each other if we are to be partners right?"

(I think I'll mostly imply she'll follow sailing directions then)

He laid his bag down and started checking the ropes in the back. "Could you check if all the knots at the front of the boat are tied securely?" As they were doing that, he continued: "And we may as well get to know each other. As I said, my name is Lucci. I work as a bounty hunter, killing pirates for money and in the name of Justice." He pronounced "Justice" in a way where you could really hear the capitalisation.

"You say it's for Justice but why are you on your own. Wouldn't you be with a crew or something" Zelda had no real idea this was all just guessing. "So can you tell me about what you can do?" she was trying really hard to not give herself away not knowing what this world used for powers or what it was called.

He readjusted a knot in silence for a moment before answering her. When he did, his voice was almost a growl. "I used to serve under the World Government. They abandoned me after I lost a battle to one damned pirate."

After that, he continued checking ropes until he was sure they were all secured well. "And as you have seen, I have eaten the Cat Cat Fruit, Model: Leopard. It allows me to transform into a leopard", he said in his usual monotone voice.

"Well that I noticed" she tried to act like it was something she knew about given the way he phrased the start of his explanation. "But as an assassin I'm sure you have more skills then what the fruit has given you." She would have to come up with a reason she could use her mask the way she could for when he asked about her skills. This was in part to find out how this world worked but also what sort of thing she needed to tell him to not stand out all that much.....though she was sure she still would.

"I have mastered the Rokushiki or Six Arts, which allow me to perform feats greater than humanly possible", he answered. "And I suppose the devil's fruit you ate relates to your mask in some way?"

Aiko took a moment to think it over seeing how the park was even if there wasn't anything set up close by for children to play on overall that was fine to to her, there were still plenty of other ways to have fun and play seeing as how there were plenty of bushes around which meant there also had to be smaller animals around to releasing his hand shifting from being that in her human form chaging into her full beast form a small fennec fox. Bounding away from his over towards the bushes jumping into one of them.

He sat down on a nearby park bench and waited for her to come back with whatever she'd caught. There probably wouldn't be anything dangerous in the park, so what was the harm in her hunting mice and rabbits and songbirds in her fennec form.

There was just something about being outside that just felt nice to her own fennec fox side maybe it was also the different scents she easily picked up maybe it was being outside instead of inside that brought her somewhat more wild side out, even if she was still a small child compared to how an actual forest was the park wasn't completely the same only having certain area's or places to run and hide in. The part still looked nice either way even if she had wished it was more like the forest.

Raising her left hand up taking a hold of his.

He took her hand and they started walking towards the park. As they entered it, he looked at her and asked: "Is there anything you wish to do at the park, little Aiko?" Walking around was nice enough, but he'd heard kids sometimes liked to play games and such when outside. Kalifa had warned him about that.

Aiko didn't want to seem like to much of a bother if he was busy at the moment but as soon as she had the chance to thinking over what they could both do that wouldn't take up to much time, once it finally came to mind there had been a nice little park like area she had seen around here with the seasons already changing that meant the leaves on the trees would be changing colors to. "The park."

"Very well", he said. "We can take a walk there."

Lucci liked giving in to his leopard side and roaming the forests of the island. The park felt tame by comparison. The grass was mowed too short, the bushes and trees trimmed too neatly, and there were barely any weeds. But if she wanted to go there, they could, of course.
