What most people seem to not understand ...
I saw a lot of people saying stuff like “Just because ChanBaek are riding a scooter together doesn’t mean they are dating!” - Well, yes of course not, we all know that much. I know friends can ride a scooter together and I know why B has to hold onto C’s waist, namely in order not to fall. So thanks for ‘educating’ us. However, what most of you fail to understand is that no one is claiming that “CB is real because they rode a scooter together!”, it’s the whole picture people are looking at, it’s the fact that this is the second time they are doing it, that they rode off together alone, that they constantly have these off-cam moments while still being rather distant and subtle on-cam. I could enumerate a thousand other aspects but what I am basically trying to say here is that you have to stop acting like CB shippers base their opinion on solely one moment, you have to stop picking out one, two people who are being problematic and generalize all CB shippers as a bunch of “delusional, childish people”. And if you were really as “mature” as you are trying to be, you would try to understand where people are coming from with their thoughts instead of going around dissing people for what they believe. I don’t expect anyone to think of CB romantically. You can interpret their interactions in any way you want since it’s your right to have an opinion. However, at least leave them their good relationship, will you? Leave them their friendship at least. I seriously laugh when I see tweets like “Chanbaek is dead.” Whenever C or B interact with other members, everyone suddenly goes “Sorry but I ship [other ship name] now!”. People are so quick to assume that CB are just fanservice, that they aren’t even close etc. Then a cute off-cam moment happens and bam - everyone suddenly goes “CB is real omg! I ship them!” … And this is not only about ships. I remember everyone bashing Chanyeol for singing 'Dream’ (which was ridicilous btw since I don’t see any problem with it) And what happened after the performance? Everyone suddenly became a PCY stan … Do you understand what I am trying to say? Stop being so quick to assume things. Stop being so hypocritical and most of all, stop these “knowing-all” attitudes. Think before you say stuff and try looking at the whole picture instead of basing your opinions solely on one or two incidents. Thank you.
