Short comic based on this wonderful prompt by @marauders4evr“Someone needs to make a beautiful comic where Aang’s struggling because Tenzin just became an airbending master but Aang has absolutely no idea how to actually tattoo the arrows because he was only twelve when his entire culture was wiped out, he had only just gotten his tattoos months before he ran away, he would have been far too young to learn the tradition from the side of the tattoo-giver and then said tradition was wiped out forever, so he’s crying as he tries his best, and then Yangchen appears and the Air Nomad Avatar before Yangchen appears and so on and so on, all the way back to the Avatar that came right after Wan, hundreds of Airbenders just sitting with Aang, patiently going over the techniques, cheering when Tenzin stands, bowing to the newest airbender, making sure the culture isn’t lost…”

Zach Tyler Eisen just did his first interview in 10 years, letting us hear what Aang sounds like in his twenties!

The original voice actor of 12-year-old Aang is now 26 and has done his first interview in a looong time. He’s always been pretty secretive, not doing much acting since Avatar. But now with ATLA hitting #1 on Netflix he’s back and we can hear what his– and Aang’s– voice sounds like!

I cut together some parts where he speaks in first-person about the events of the show that you can kind of imagine as Aang talking! Zach is definitely not voice acting, but it still ultimately sounds like Aang’s voice. Just hearing him say Sokka and Katara’s names… 😭

40-year-old Aang was voiced by D.B. Sweeney in The Legend of Korra. Interestingly, their voices match pretty closely!

You can see the whole interview/podcast here. It comes in at 33 minutes long.

Experimenting with one of my previous sketches. Which was a practice referencing those stock photos with like people jumping mid air that I then decided to make some spirit world shenanigan korrasami,

I want to learn how to “paint” but i honestly don’t know how to even start. So I thought I’d yolo it bob ross style but I like, pussied out with some filters. IDK.

It’s great to see these gals so carefree! Great work!
