with midi length bodycon dresses, i feel like the best course of action is to keep things fairly simple and sleek silhouette wise with some bigger accessories and clunky heels. i love love love big chunky heels with midi dresses!!! i think that you could either go for a long, witchy gothy vibe with a maxi cardigan, minimal accessories, and maybe a hat (also maybe throwing a different colored blouse underneath the dress for contrast if you’d like!) or you could embrace the punky vintage vibes by pairing it with a bigger leather jacket, like a motorcycle jacket especially! i really like bright colored moto jackets in neons or pastels, and adding coordinating accessories with that cheeky vintage punk-ish vibe would let everyone know you’re a cute as fuck but also mean serious business! hope that helps and i’m so jealous of your new gorgeous velvet dress! kick some ass in that thing!!!!!!!!
