Oh my gosh, it’s THE BEST. They’ve each told the story quite a few times but in my opinion the best retelling is when Julie honored Carol when she received the Mark Twain Prize a few years ago. I found it on YouTube with Korean subtitles so you can watch it and maybe learn a new language! The gist is that they were trying to play a prank on their friend but things kept going wrong with the timing of their bit. For context, this was in the ‘60s when they would often host shows and perform together. I don’t want to ruin the punchline for you so I won’t elaborate and I’ll just let Julie explain haha.
