I just watched this film for the first time and LET ME FUCKING TELL YOU it is not the mindless action film I was expecting.
Easily one of the most thought provoking films I’ve seen in a long time. It’s chaotic and beautiful and absurdist and surrealist and dystopian in a completely dissonant way that shouldn’t work together BUT IT DOES.
The cast is incredible and every single person involved gives it 110% to their performance.
You definitely have to be in a special state of mind, because if you’re looking for a fun action movie, you’ll be bored and disappointed. But if you really want to deconstruct an art piece about human nature YOU GOTTA WATCH IT.

Speaking of Steve, I met him at Tucson Comic Con a while back. He actually went out and found a manufacturing company by the name Stark and convinced them to fabricate his shield.
His shield is legitimately a Stark Industries creation.
