In no way, shape or form are our comments directed towards the cool destiel shippers going about their business. Our issues have been, as they have always been, with the destiehellers who refuse to acknowledge that the show doesn’t exist ONLY for them.  So to YOU, the cool destiel shipper, Mama Bear gives you a big hug.

and always remember

TRUTH!!! I dig those that show the actors respect, but have fun in fandom.

That hand tho. [x]

And Jared mirroring that adorable scrunched up nose? Too cute.

We know Jensen had a serious case of heart eyes during this but Jared in that third gif… It was right after Jensen’s adorable nose scrunching, so I guess Jared’s all of us in that moment.

HA HA HAAAAAA "What's the name of Iron Man's assistant?"

He is definitely telling him about how they will both have to be in her :)

100% what Jared said. I have zero doubt. 😜 Jared we know how your brain goes and Jensen's response is telling 😂😂😂 it was either that or "We both get to ride in her."

“What happens when you’ve decided I can’t be trusted again? I mean, who are you gonna turn to next time instead of me? Another angel, another – another vampire? Do you have any idea what it feels like to watch your brother just–”

That’s awesome that the two series regulars, Mark and Misha, were included in the EW video and had an opportunity to share their views about the victory and applaud the fans.

I’ve seen some people complaining about only the show leads being on the cover.  I have to say that it is normal for leads to be the main face of TV shows. And on Supernatural there is long precedent of this as well. When Jim Beaver was number three human player on call sheets (i.e. not counting Baby) he wasn’t featured in publicity material with the two leads despite being a fan favorite and appearing at many cons. Also these two guys have earned some additional recognition for how much of their lives they have given to the show and its demands and their loyalty to the show and its fans.

Jared and Jensen have carried the series for 12 years and in the course of that have made a lot of sacrifices to it that the supporting players like Mark and Misha haven’t had to make. Jared and Jensen weren’t even able to get a guarantee that they will get their own wedding days off if the day wasn’t during hiatus. They repeatedly arrive at cons exhausted from filming late into the night and have to fly out immediately to start filming on Monday. Jared was working when Gen went into labor, and according to Osric he offered to stay there for Osric’s coverage before leaving to be by Gen’s side. Jensen has mentioned offers of starring roles in major films that he gave up because they would not fit with his commitments to Supernatural. After having children they both felt compelled to give up on other job opportunities altogether because they have so little time outside of the show. Jensen has stopped directing despite having a real interest in it and having displayed talent at it. Their time is so tight they’ve developed a two week rule to make sure they see their families at least once within each two week period so things don’t go completely sideways in their psyches and familial relationships.

You don’t hear Mark or Misha arrive at cons exhausted and unslept due to work like J2. Even if they work late on some day they have time off to relax, do leisure activities and hobbies, and catch up on sleep during the work year. Misha has shown up tired from going out dancing with friends, but not from being perpetually worked. Mark has time to spend with his family and new baby, and he’s out and about doing meetings and auditions from what we hear from him and others involved in the show. Misha has time for intensive homemaking stuff he finds fulfilling like making jam from berries he picked himself, regularly putting his kids to bed after reading to them, and starting and maintaining huge projects of personal interest. Misha has time for other job opportunities when he chooses to try pursuing that. I think the protests about what Misha and Mark don’t get to share in same measure as J2 fail to appreciate the benefits Misha and Mark enjoy all the time, like a good work life balance to go with their steady work, dependable pay, and fan popularity. There’s a lot to envy about Misha and Mark’s positions.

Also, as great as Misha and Mark are, when it comes to celebrating the show’s long run, its quality, and the phenomenon it has become, there are a great many supporting actors who have contributed so much to making it what it is. People like Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Fredric Lehne, Jim Beaver, Samantha Ferris, Mark Pellegrino, Julie McNiven, Rob Benedict, Robert Wisdom, Osric, and so on and so on. And, of course, there are all the crucial people who have been working behind the camera and in writing rooms. When I vote for Supernatural I’m voting for all of them and for great creations like the giant depressed teddy bear, and I understand that Jared and Jensen will likely fly the flag and accept the honor as the primary faces of the show instead of standing there with all those other amazing contributors. They represent the work of everyone when they fly the flag.

OP: Thank you!! Some people refuse to believe that Jared and Jensen don’t deserve to be the only ones on the cover, even though they have sacrificed more than anyone. It’s the rabid % of this fandom that no matter how good the publicity is, if the angel isn’t getting all the glory, they are ranting on Twitter to Jared, Jensen, the CW, Jim Michaels, and anyone else whose handle they have. What they are doing is proving how entitled they are. It’s gotten to the point that most people think the SPN fandom are all nuts. When you have a small group who whines and yells, but because they are so offensive, those outside the fandom just groups everyone together. Mark and his fans know that the core of this show started with the J’s and will end with the J’s. Mark has been graceful along with his fans to enjoy his success in SPN because he just does his job, and moves along. It’s only the hellers/minions who seem to think the angel and his character is more important than he is. (Not all are like this, but there are certainly ones who makes it Jared to separate the two….

THIS!! SO THIS!!!
