Its so nice being gay with friends. And I don't mean like, having any kind of romantic or sexual relationship or that sort of thing, though that's wonderful, too, but what I mean is like, just when all your friends are gay and you talk about things straight people don't think twice about, like celebrity crushes and oh am I attracted to this person or do I just want their aesthetic. Just having queer friends is so nice. Normalizing queerness together is so nice.

All these REGs crying that the ell gee bee tee community came together to "fight homophobia and transphobic" as if the cis haven't been screwing over trans people for decades, as if they didn't only *grudgingly* accept the existence of trans people so they could piggy back on all the trans community has accomplished, as if the cis LG community hasn't always been a festering cesspit of transphobia and remains so to this very day, as if they don't throw trans people and especially trans women under the bus at the first possible opportunity, as if they aren't responsible for the deaths of countless queer youth, directly or indirectly, because of the glee with which they try to imitate oppressive power structures in their joke of a "community," as if they only tack us on at the end of their arguments and about pages as a token to make them seem more enlightened and inclusive, only to fuck us over as soon as it's convenient for them. Aphobes, biphobes, and TWERFS/transphobes of all kinds, this is your legacy. The community never "came together to fight transphobia" --it threw the trans community a scrap then told us to sit down and shut up or else.

I, a filthy aro trans allogay, personally love and welcome anyone into the queer community who genuinely needs it and is just trying to survive. I would a thousand times rather have "confused straight people" in the community than the fucking REGs that currently infest it. Let people question and learn and grow, let people use what labels they feel most comfortable with or none at all. All aces are welcome here, all aros are welcome here, all m-spec folks are welcome here, all nonbinary and trans folks are welcome here, and all hateful, gate keeping, vile, abusive shitstains can go jump in a lake. The queer community is a place of love and radical acceptance, not of hysteria and hatemongering.

“not every show needs queer characters”

well not every show needs 25 straight white carbon copies of the same characters from every other show ever aired in the history of television yet here we are with ten thousand of you on tv and one of me if I’m lucky

how dare you eat a feast, throw me a bone while I’m starving, and then tell me to be happy that I’m finally equal to you you spoiled entitled brat

Hermione Granger: *comes from muggle world and discovers magic*

Hermione Granger: *witnesses humans transfigure into animals*

Hermione Granger: *time-travels multiple times per day*

Professor Trelawney: “I can prophesize the future.”

Hermione Granger: “Bullshit. That can’t be possible. Fuck you.”

anyways hermione is a cutthroat bitch and her demonizing divination is due to the fact that she literally #cannot with emotional forms of magic. quidditch? which requires an emotional partnership of trust with the broom? nope. divination? which requires an emotional openness and willingness to forego logical conclusion at the whims of fate? are u fuckin kidding me. patronuses? which require not just technical skill but also a deep connection with your own emotional core? uhhhhh we’ll just let harry handle that one.

movie!hermione, w/ her advanced emotional intelligence and absolute willingness to meet each and every emotional need the boys have, should have of course been good at emotional magics like divination. shes fucking superwoman. but book!hermione? who destroyed a girls face without mercy because she ratted out the DA? who erased her parents memories so she could fight in a war? who solved dumbledores’ mysteries using ancient runes, an art that is practically the math of magic? book!hermione will destroy you and she will do it armed with the cold hard facts and the cold hard facts alone. book!hermione doesn’t give a shit. instead of getting a regular pet, book!hermione was drawn to a magical cat who is self-serving and intellectual and helped her gather clues rather than serving as an emotional companion. i mean fck.

full offense but hermione is so hardcore and logic-driven and she literally could give a SHIT about ur feelings

Rent Help!

Hi, me and my girlfriend are struggling to get our last month’s rent before we move. We can’t afford to live here- let alone afford to move out. Details can be read here if you like. We are two transgender people in the rural south who need help to meet rent, we’re short by $125  and any extra will go towards our moving needs.

You can paypal us at my new account: https://www.paypal.me/confirmedsoldier76

Lith/akoiromantics, and any grey-arospec identity deserves just as much respect and visibility as any ‘more known’ aspec identity.

Lith/akoiromantics are valid aromantics, and deserve to be proud of their identity.

no one but yourself has the right to police your identity. You are valid, and you are a part of the LGBT+ community.
