This Is One Of The Last Remaining Alcoa Care-Free Homes In The US. Take A Look Around
In the late 1950s, American architect Charles M. Goodman designed a collection of suburban houses for Alcoa (the Aluminum Company of America).
Of the 24 homes that were eventually built, just a handful remain today — and this property in Minnesota is one of them.
Located in Saint Louis Park and listed for $925,000, the 1958 home has been carefully restored throughout, blending classic mid-century design with contemporary touches.
With an open plan design, the 3,690-square-foot house is spacious and perfect for hosting — but the warm tones and wood paneling throughout ensure it's still very much a cozy, homely space too.

Well, it looks like the US Congress is FINALLY moving on Ukraine aid. Not a second too soon. Gutless coward repugnigans bow to their lord, trump, who doesn’t want to fix ANYTHING this year so he can run a campaign on it. But I think it’s gonna happen.
How are you getting on?
It was pretty much a given that the funding would pass after they linked everything under the sun to it. It was still interesting to see the old-guard vs new-wave Republican split in the vote.
I do understand what's powering the nay voters. Inequality in America has reached crisis proportions, and the only political group that even pays lip service to the poor anymore is the Trump Republicans. So naturally, they're going to get a lot of power from this unrepresented group that's been abandoned by both major parties. The thing is, the poor are hurting BAD, and hurting NOW, and so their aim is to get some support, ANY support at home - which means not sending it abroad.
It doesn't matter that Trump doesn't actually give a shit about them; what matters is how the Trumpist faction portrays itself (i.e. what the poor believe). They're basically the first "third party" in America that's actually getting somewhere, and they're doing it by hostile takeover of the Republican party. It's only a matter of time now.
Add to that Trump's grudge against Ukraine ever since they refused to do a political investigation of Hunter Biden and it's pretty easy to see the writing on the wall. Trump is famous for the lengths he'll go to over a grudge. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last Ukrainian aid package.
As for me, I'm head-down putting together the book (18,000 words so far, expecting around 80,000 I guess). Writing the book isn't as much of an issue as publishing and marketing it…

Consequences of the Russian missile attack on Odesa in the afternoon of April 21. As a result of the attack, private houses were damaged.
The number of injured people as a result of the Russian attack has increased to four: three men and a woman, the head of the Regional Military Administration Oleg Kiper said.
