[Hello, friends! 

I hope everyone is doing well. If you were wondering, yes, I am still alive. However, I think it’s time to let go of this blog for good. I never posted anything certain because there was a part of me that would love to eventually come back, but it is time to officially pull the plug on my Tumblr RP career. 

I still dabble in roleplaying but in private, so if you wish to join my shiny new Discord server feel free to. A lot has changed and the muse list there at the moment is a bit different. However, if you would like to roleplay with Toni/y Stark (open to canon now), Natasha Romanoff, Carol Danvers, Bucky Barnes, or Emma Swan, or if you just want to chat OOC, I would love to see you there. If you just want to chat a bit here on Tumblr, please PM me. I’ll be checking in from time to time, at least for the foreseeable future.

Thank you for all the love you showed this blog, the mun, and the muses over the years. Disturbxnces was really the best time I had in the Tumblr RP community. Through this blog I found the sweetest and most talented people, and I can’t thank you enough for all the good times and all the feels. All of it was incredible.

Rosa is quiet for a moment, wondering if Jake will just shut up if she ignores him. Then again… “Where would a turtle get nunchucks?” Rosa shakes her head. Deep down she knows that she’s entertaining this idea too much already. “I’m not arresting a turtle for nunchuck possession. Turtles are dumb, just gotta flip them over and take the weapon away.” 

She hums, considering the option, then shakes her head again. “By that logic, every single animal in the zoo has committed a crime.” A pause. “They arrested a bird in the Netherlands once.”

“Not really a ‘Good Morning,’ but I’ll take it. –And that.” Without looking over at - properly acknowledging - Emma, Mal picked up the offered cup rather quickly, raising it to her mouth. She let it linger there, allowing the undeniable aroma of coffee to waft up to fill her nostrils before then taking a sip. Pleasantly hot enough to further warm her throat and awaken her completely. A much needed temporary fix ahead of a new day when she should have gone back to sleep. “Not going to stay up tonight for nothing this time,” she swore to herself, shaking her head. “Not when I haven’t been giving my back enough time to heal itself.”  The cup was slowly placed back down by the kitchen sink. “Uh…–Thanks, by the way.” She turned her head to the right. Her eyes locked with Emma’s. “Guess I can forgive you for being here too early,” she muttered. And too late. Still, a small, grateful smile formed across her lips, betraying her words.

Emma took that as a good sign, both hands sliding into the pockets of her jacket after Mal had taken the coffee from her. She walked into Mal’s home like she had many times before, losing count of it at this point and yet still not quite sure WHY. Her efforts to understand it only served as fuel to come by more often; after all, no matter how much Emma would rack her brain for a plausible explanation, her hands always came up empty. Perhaps the place itself (and the company of the one inhabiting it) held the answers Emma had been looking for.

The fact was that despite their hostility for one another - mostly in the very beginning - Emma always felt compelled to push past it and pick at Mal’s brain. There was a lot that Emma didn’t understand (such was the human default, after all), but no lack of knowledge bothered her quite as much as that which pertained Mal. Mostly, Emma would like to understand why the woman always seemed to sneak her way into Emma’s thoughts whenever she was awake in the dead of night; when the sheer possibility of what her subconscious might present her with kept Emma away from sleep. 

“No problem.” She studied Mal’s face. Her hands moved from her pockets as Emma crossed her arms instead as if that somehow was a better RESTRAIN against the urge to reach out. “Rough night, too?”

i literally cannot comprehend the people who act like shipping is some kind of crusade or moral obligation. like if you ask them why they ship something they say “oh it’s groundbreaking representation” or some shit instead of talking about how they like the way the characters interact. obviously representation is important but nobody is going to give you a medal for only shipping wholesome healthy all-natural 100% organic gmo-free pure pairings, you’re allowed to just…have fun. sometimes you just want two characters to kiss. you’re not a bad person for not writing a thousand-page thesis mathematically proving that your otp will end oppression across the globe

If all there was to look forward to was fast food then Steve’s considering another stint on the ice, but he doesn’t allow for his thoughts to move anywhere past his otherwise pulled down eyebrows. He’ll save the disappointment for when he’s alone and not trying to make friends. One thing that hadn’t changed though was the communal congregation around coffee and he can’t say that he’s mad about it either. Despite it having no real effects on his body the taste pulls him right back into his teens “ Well “ he begins answering “ I’m in a small apartment not too far from here. Close enough so they can keep an eye on me and not too far that I can get lost. Which is always a bonus since everything has moved around ” there is no need to justify and yet he does for his own comfort. He’s out of touch here and there’s a fraction of pink hued embarrassment that lingers behind his ears.

The soft chatter stops and Toni pretends not to notice it. She is used to it, frankly, but she also has an inkling that the reason for the abrupt silence is not her own presence for once. The nearly full pot tells her the coffee is fresh, at least, and Toni takes some solace in that. She grabs two paper cups from the stack near the machine and fills them up before handing one to Steve. “Is THAT what they told you? Or is that what you’re telling yourself?” A bonus. Toni wants to laugh at the thought. “Why do they gotta keep an eye on you, anyway?” Oh, Toni will laugh if Steve tells her something even similar to that being for his own benefit. She sips on her coffee and looks at it questioningly; it might be fresh but it’s not great and her frown says as much without her actually commenting on it. “How close is it? Like, when you say keep an eye on you, is looking out the window with a pair of binoculars a viable way to do it or did they gift you with some false sense of privacy?”
