I know we’re well past it and onto possibly even more heartbreaking moments, but for me, Haruka’s breakdown in Eternal Summer ep. 9 is one of the most powerful scenes I’ve ever seen in anime.

There is no death, no love confession, no heart-felt speech, nobody is even saying anything. You’re watching a human being — a seventeen-year-old boy — completely and utterly give up.

And there’s something indescribably chilling about that.

THANK YOU.

(When Kisumi sees Sousuke at the clinic? Would that be alright? o uo) Sousuke stopped walking when he heard his name echoing around him in the narrow hall corridor. He knew that voice all too well and the throbbing in his shoulder reached his chest. How long had it been since he'd heard that voice? Since he'd thought about those brilliant eyes? Why did they have to reunite now... He grit his teeth and his eyes slid to the creepily clean tile of the hospital floor. "Kisumi..." he said dryly.

He watched as his old friend stopped dead in his tracks. Standing up from his seat, Kisumi took a step towards the boy. “I haven’t seen you in forever, you’ve gotten huge!” Lightly laughing, Kisumi rubbed the back of his head with his uninjured hand. It’d been a while, and in all places to have a reunion. “How’ve you been? You visiting someone?” He asked, looking down to where Sousuke’s aqua eyes seemed to be focused.

Sousuke paused, considering lying to Kisumi for a moment, but opted for a reversal in conversation instead. He turned to face him, carefully leaning against the wall, placing his weight on his good shoulder. He crossed his arms in front of his chest and raised a brow, nodding his head in gesture to Kisumi’s hand, “Slam dunk gone wrong?” he joked with a soft smile, doing his best to ignore the throbbing of his muscles.

The misdirection was very noticeable, but one that Kisumi would let go of for now. “Heh, that’d be a much better story to tell. I got knocked down and sprained my wrist, nothing too big. I just won’t be able to play for about a week, but I  think I’ll survive.” Kisumi let out a deep sigh, focusing his eyes on the bandage that was now tightly wrapped around his hand. Kisumi was going to miss the adrenaline rush of dribbling a ball down the court, but he knew this break wasn’t permanent. "Not playing will also give me a chance to spend some time with my little brother, Hayato. He’ll be learning how to swim at the Iwatobi Swimming Club, I’m a bit worried about that."

"Mmm.." Sousuke nodded slowly as the pounding in his chest grew considerably. Kisumi only had to refrain from basketball for a week. His eyes narrowed at this thought and his shoulder screamed at him as he was reminded. Who knew how long it would be before he could swim effectively again? He’d just accomplished an incredible goal, had just been nationally recognized…why did he have to be punished for this? Why did the water bare it’s fangs at him so harshly? His mind processed Kisumi’s words about Hayato and that only angered him further. He remembered being told that story…at how Kisumi’s brother had almost drowned. His mind traveled further, to when Rin had missed school for a few days because his father had been taken by the water, along with others. How could the water pick and choose who could enjoy her waters like a jury decides the fate of the accused? Was that it? Was he being put on trial, all evidence against him? His mind flooded with these thoughts, his smile faltered. “How is Hayato.” his mouth moved in auto pilot as his sea foam green eyes grew more distant.

Kisumi stared into Sousuke’s eyes, and even though he knew they were looking at each other it felt as if Sousuke was gazing through him. He seemed, sad? Dropping his focus to his feet, Kisumi decided it was best to ignore his gut feeling for now. “Hayato is alright. He’s kind of nervous about the whole swimming thing. If I were any good at it, I’d teach him. I just hope Iwatobi can help him with his phobia.”

He didn’t like seeing his little brother afraid, but he knew that he should at least learn the basics of swimming for the future. Lost in thought of his brother, Kisumi’s head snaped back up. “Hey, if you’re ever free maybe you can help him out? You’ve always been the best at swimming! Maybe if Hayato sees how good you are he’ll get motivated.”

His eyes brightened a bit. This could be it, this could be his redemption. His smile was realized, "I'd be honored. As long as you treat me to lunch after." he raised a brow, "Coaches must be paid after all."

#DONT FUCKING TOUCH ME IM NOT OVER THIs

friendly reminder that when the actor who played khal drogo met the actress who plays daenerys he shouted “WIFEY!” and tackled her

Also reminder that during one of the sex scenes they were supposed to film, he came on with a sock puppet on his dick and Emilia Clarke was laughing so hard they had to take a ten minute break.

My life is

INFINITELY better knowing those tidbits of information

at the Q&A panel I went to with him he said before every sex scene with her he would go “I’M SORRY I’M SORRY I’M SORRY I’M SORRY” before getting into character and going at it

"I know what you’re doing, Tachibana Makoto,” Rin complains as he leans in to straddle Makoto’s thighs. “How the hell am I supposed to pretend I don’t want you when you’re sitting there looking like that?”

Makoto smiles up at him languidly.

"I guess you shouldn’t then."

Rin clicks his tongue.

"Then why’d you even get dressed?"

I must apologize for the rough quality and total lack of consistency and also for myself being rotten to the core.

It was a really fun livestream though! I really enjoyed drawing these! So I’m posting them as a thank you to all the people that come to chat a bit with me. I always have a good time!
