The Cendrillion Ladybug costume was based of a music video I saw by Lucia Satalina back during the premier of season 1. I hadn't realized so much time had passed since then and now ^^;

I didn't realize Miraculous Ladybug was on disney to watch online, and now I am back deep marathoning. And I can't believe how many seasons I've missed since I first started watching

I feel like I'm going to be back deep into the fandom again in no time

Slowly working on Gaia, hoping to get her done before a soft deadline next month. Today I finished up her skater dress base layer. It's a nice thick spandex, so it has a great drape and cling. It's also lined so it's completely opaque and sturdy  #cosplay #ffxiv #finalfantasyxiv #gaia #wip #ff14

Take 2 on foam board adhesives!

I splurged on a jigsaw after I looked at the pile of foam I had to cut out by hand, and I am in love with how much easier it made my life <3 I cut out 6 inches of foam board, layered it with power grab, and have it clamped nice and tight with some boards for even pressure distribution

Lol, guess who's back working on cosplay after a 18 month hiatus, and a 6 month social media absence XD I have been stalling on Gaia for literally longer than the pandemic, and life finally found a shred of dopamine and plugged it into the cosplay port in my brain. So here are the fruits of an afternoon of labor; after crawling around on the floor trying to figure out proportion math after over a year of not using it

The herringbone wool came in last week, so I could finally finish the 1910 American Duchess cape! It has quite a nice weight to it, since its double wool. And has a very fun swisheyness to it. I definitely feel like I am going to end up making another one or two of these in different colors in the future #sewing #1910fashion #ADcapecult

I had a much needed long weekend off, and in need of distractions projects ordered some wools to work on the American Duchess 1910 cape. There was a bit of a snafu with the outer wool, they sent something totally different in the mail. But while I wait for the post to sort out the replacement, I worked on some mockup fit adjustments and knocked out the lining. It now fits the shoulders perfectly after some fiddling, and is super fun to swoosh in. I can't wait to finish it up and see how it looks ☺ #ADcapecult #sewing #1910fashion

Wow. Its been a while since I last posted from MAGFest ^^; I was planning on taking February off to relax, and then the next thing you know all heck is breaking lose, everything goes into lockdown, and i spend most of March out sick. I'm still alive, just been playing a lot of Animal Crossing and FF14 as sanity buffers while isolating at home.
