I just. This album is incredible. The lyrics are the most clever and well written in the history of her music. She experiments with such interesting instruments and the styles here are so different from anything she’s ever done but it all flows and fits so well. I can’t believe that she is 7 albums into her career and still evolving like this and doing this so well. She’s yet to trip over her own feet trying to do something new. The execution of everything is so perfect. She covers some incredibly personal topics and ones she’s never done before here and isn’t afraid to put these vulnerable stories and feelings out there. This has been my favorite listening experience. The way she ends this album is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. “You are what you love”. Taylor Swift is a Lover. She is a lover of music, the people in her life, her fans, and a lover of life itself. This album encapsulates so many concepts and lessons she’s learned over the years, not just the last 2 and I just, can’t express how amazing this record it. Lover is amazing.

everything that happens in those rooms is literally the narrative of those albums.

Red room (red): her man makes her jealous/maybe cheating, the Taylor from the yellow room (fearless) is out of place, lots of friends

Black attic (rep): she holes up with just her lover and private time with nobody else

Pink room (lover): she's happy and close with him but also has happy time to herself here, a balance, happiness

Blue room (1989): when her fame spiked and her life became a fishbowl of voyeurs and any lover she had entered the fishbowl alongside her

Green room (debut): he's just putting up a frame showing they just began, she just plays instruments innocently enjoying her time with her lover, no real understanding of love yet

Purple (speak now): SHE IS JUST IN IT ALONE SINGING & PLAYING PIANO BECAUSE SHE WROTE IT BY HERSELF (they also have the cute dinner and dance in here, like the love she fantasized about on this album)

Yellow (fearless): playing board games and living life upsidedown - this one is the only one im not sure about? maybe that's the era where her life literally turned upsidedown from fame???

TAYLOR DID I GET IT RIGHT

I’ve gone through a lot in my adult life that most people don’t have to. It is more than just about music, or having an appreciation for someone. Her music was my way of escaping reality, the only constant in my life. Ive related to her music in more ways than one and it has gotten me through so many low points in my life. Yesterday was my first ever Taylor Swift concert. Though it shouldn’t have been, I’m a believer that everything happens for a reason, especially when the time is right. Not only was I able to see and hear her live, I had a moment with her. The video doesn’t truly show authentically the connection that happened between her and I. To put into some context, in the middle of her show she walks from one side of the stadium to the other, seeing as many fans and saying hello that she can. Obviously she has a schedule to keep for the show so she doesn’t have time to get into specifics with anyone. Our interaction lasted a total of 5 seconds but just in those 5 seconds, it seriously felt like the world stopped. Like her and I were the only ones in the room, though never seeing each other face to face, it was like I’d known her my whole life, which she radiated that feeling right back to me. She looked over at me, kept eye contact, shocked and amazed at my outfit (I assume, or how sweaty and melted my make up was) to which once she held my hand, I held it super tight and said, “Hey I love you so much, I love you.” as no other words were formulating in my head. She gushed at my compliment as she dipped her head in her shoulders said thank you and proceeded to say, “You’re so beautiful.” Though she kept moving on, she never once in those 5 seconds gave anyone else attention, it was just her and I. Which to me, means the absolute world. @taylorswift is a real human, one with emotions like everyone else, and that cares for her fans in more ways than any other artist I’ve ever seen. I cannot thank you enough for everything you’ve done for me, and for sharing those few seconds with me that will stay with me for a life time. I love you Taylor @taylornation Though I would for Taylor to see this for the sake of seeing a post of mine, I want her to see this to know she’s not a phase. She impacts peoples lives meaningfully. Don’t you ever forget that 💜
