Women supporting women is my shit
I can’t stress enough how important it is that you surround yourself with supportive people who make you feel important and special, and who enhance your life with their presence. If their presence is making you feel worse instead of better, re-evaluate why you’re letting them stay.
Life lessons I’m learning in my 20s: Communicate your feelings. If something feels wrong tell them. If something makes you feel off, tell them. Don’t bottle it up. You don’t deserve to feel that way and your feelings are valid. Those who matter will understand, take your point of view into consideration, communicate back and if needed adjust their behavior.

To me, summer has always been a time to pull the plug and fully lose yourself in a book. Preferably while lounging near a pool, but it’s been a few years since I’ve been on that kind of vacation.
