The Brains of the Organization

Abraham Sapien. Yes, it is a terrible name. Unfortunately there isn't anything to be done about it. I am a member of the Bureau for Paranormal Research & Defense and currently classified as an Enhanced Talent agent. If I can be of any assistance to you in your dealings with the mysterious and unexplained, please do let me know. ____ Indie RP account for Abraham Sapien. Movie based with comic verses to be added in the future. No icons are mine but the sidebar art is. Mun and muse are 21+. ____ Please read the files and bureau protocol links before interacting.

[Just a quick heads up- I'm only here a little mostly because my hard drive is failing and thus computer access is spotty. Hopefully I'll find a solution soon.]

"Personally? Quite often. I’ve a tendency to retreat here whenever I’m able and it’s very handy to have history, literature, and the arts accessible without much legwork."

[Her shoulders bob in a shrug. She’s pleased to have her intelligence complimented—she’s always pleased with any kind of compliment—but it’s beginning to dawn on her that her decision was rather selfish.]

"For others—well, there haven’t been many positive remarks, but it hasn’t been wholly negative either. Of course, for the books towards the middle categories it’s very similar to how it was before. Only the extremes cause confusion."

[He finds this interesting, if only because most of the other agents and researchers who work with the Bureau tend to enter this room only when absolutely required to do so. Curious that he hasn't truly noticed her presence before. Perhaps he's been on more missions than he thought.]

"Lucky for them that the information inside the computer science books is also easily obtained on computers."

[He will appreciate that the poetry is no longer on the second floor of the library, honestly. He doesn't care for the stairs.]

"If anyone tries to make you replace it, have them speak with me. They'll come around."

"Would you believe practicality?" [She gestures toward the shelves, much prouder than she has any right to be.]

"I find that history books are consulted far more often than those on computer science. Better to bring them up to the front. Quicker access. I speak only for myself, of course, but I thought it seemed general enough an assumption."

[Her evident pleasure she has in the finished product can't help but be endearing, and it makes him more open to her explanation.]

"That is actually quite brilliant, Miss Naux. And no doubt I'll find it very handy. Have you had many opportunities to utilize our new system?"
