i'm not the one for long stories about my life, but i'll make an exception this time. my grandma lived with my mom, dad, and i for some time and during that time, she took pictures of almost every moment we had. she loved doing it, and now looking back at it, i'm glad she did. my memory is nothing less than terrible, so i don't have the pleasure of remembering parts of my childhood; luckily, my grandma had her camera always within her hands to capture the moments i would eventually forget. this is box full almost to the brim of pictures from my childhood, birthday parties, and family get togethers, and now i have a way to look back at those times and see some of those moments, even if it is just one or two pictures. i got this on Christmas Eve, and in 21 years of living, i've never received a gift that is as meaningful and close to my heart as this.
