in robot society they don't do numerical security passcodes because every robot can just think really hard and reverse-crack the algorithm that generates them. instead they employ humans to send them text messages with their one-time login phrase like "large blueberry" or "my mother's honda civic." there's no inherent logic to it, they just have the human set the code with whatever's on their mind, which stumps and vexes robot hackers.

things i think about CONSTANTLY:
- daniel handler said that everyone in a series of unfortunate events and the surrounding universe is jewish “unless stated otherwise”
- the only time it could possibly have been considered “stated otherwise” is in the netflix tvv, when poe and his wife mention being the only kids in their class without b'nei mitzvahs
- literally the only non-jewish characters in this series are the bankers

just a reminder to COMPLETELY boycott Eurovision this year; Azerbaijan and Israel, despite committing genocide, are STILL allowed to compete & have NOT been banned. by refusing to ban both countries, Eurovision is profiting off of the genocide of Palestinians and Armenians.
do not listen to the artists. do not pirate or stream the artists' music, and this applies to ALL the artists who are competing and performing this year. do not listen to the songs on ANY platform, do not give them ANY attention.
write to your broadcasters and tell them you REFUSE to watch the channels until they recognise the Armenian and Palestinian genocides & that you find it disgusting how they are allowing Eurovision despite Azerbaijan and Israel's entries.
do NOT give eurovision OR the competing artists ANYTHING but silence.
boycott ALL of eurovision.

this reminds of these kids I used to nanny. the eldest (8 at the time) taught me how to play chess with this set. I remember him going over the pieces and stated that Luigi was the queen and he, no joke, said “because he’s the nicest and you have to protect someone like that” that has always stuck in my head whenever I see Luigi now
