one of my cullen hcs is that he genuinely doesn't know that he's generally an attractive man. mostly because the chantry probably taught him that stuff like that isn't important, and because of all the things that went down in his life he never thought about it.

lol like I can picture him being genuinely oblivious as to why people turn their heads when he walks by or why some of the staff stare when he's training in the courtyard.

Do not equate Cullen Rutherford to his voice actor Greg Ellis, as much as Greg wants you to. (Probably because Cullen is the biggest acting credit he has to his name.)

Cullen left the Templars because he saw the corrupt system for what it is and started working from outside the Order to reform the Templars into a force for good. Greg is a cop bootlicker who believes in All Lives Matter.

Cullen respects women and any woman he falls in love with is treated like royalty. Greg thinks women aren’t able to raise boys into men without a father involved.

Cullen respects Krem. Greg respects JK Rowling.

Cullen’s character was written by Brianne Battye. Greg has nothing to do with who Cullen is as a person, he just says what the script Brianne wrote for him to say.

my one wish for DA4 is the protagonist getting a long letter from Cullen saying he’s so sorry but he can’t be of any service, but here’s a cool shield and you can block with it. He’d help but he’s too busy with his dog and clinic, and now he has a mabari shelter going on as well. (and if protagonist wants to rescue a dog, they’re more than welcome.) If romanced he of course also mentions he’s at home spending time with wifey and growing his large vegetable garden. The end.
