To be so rude and follow you like that. This kid sure has a way with words. At least the other didn’t seem to conniving. Either that or he was very bad at it. “Stationed. Ashley de Beaufou. Now you know.” Ashley would run a hand through his dark hair, brushing a stray strand from his face.

“Oh, I’m Elliot! Just a resident around here. Nice to meet you!” That was a relief. At least the stranger didn’t seem as strung-up as he was before. Though--

“Stationed?” He canted his head, eyebrows furrowing in thought. “As in, stationed for uh, military duty? Or a job thing?”

If it was the prior, he hoped there wasn’t any trouble brewing in the area.

          {♪} —; “Hey! Hey, hey, hey!! Don’t move any further!” Vee made sure the other person didn’t move, bending down and with a fearful expression pulling out paper and a plastic cup. He scoops up a small spider before shakily throwing it into nearby shrubbery. “Phew c-close!”

“W-What?” Elliot lets out a small yelp, recoiling and freezing in mid-step. Preparing for the worst, he already begins formulating an escape route and running through scenarios, train of thought only interrupted by the scene unfolding before him. A sigh of relief passes through his lips and he offers a sheepish smile, "O-Oh, yeah! Sorry about that." 

          With bemused smile, the angel waved the French Fry about before then popping it into his own mouth ; second hand, however, slid the container of the rest of the fries across the table towards the male in the same moment.  ❛ Here you go~. ❜

One could see the hope dim from his eyes as the treasured french fry was wrenched from his possession, and Elliot’s blinding smile faded into head-hanging disappointment. This expression was brushed aside easily at the sight of the fries, and he gleefully stuffed a handful in his mouth. He spewed a very muffled, “Thank you!”

Drool threatens to drip from his mouth, and he shakes off the dazed look on his face before pursing his lips in a pout. “Pretty pretty please?”

“If you think I don’t see you snooping around like that, you’re alarmingly incorrect.” Ashley narrowed his gaze, turning to the suspicious individual. Ashley didn’t take kindly to such sketchy behavior. He’s had his fair share of stealth soldiers and spies. “What do you want?”

“I-I’m really sorry! I didn’t mean to be so rude and follow you like that.” Stealth was never his strong point, but Elliot flinched at the comment before sheepishly moving from behind the wall into clear view. He raised his hands in a show of peace. “Just haven’t seen you around these parts, and well...” The stranger had an air of strength that, while although not unsettling, warranted an investigation. “I like knowing the residents.”
