New Mug

I am loving my new mug.  I faithfully use it every morning.  It was an impulse buy for me.  Well, I was a little peer-pressured into it, but I am so glad.  There is something so comforting about having your own mug.  I have now discovered yet another reason to continue servicing the addiction.   I talked to my brother yesterday as he was starting a long drive.  He told me he had is XL Dbl Dbl in hand.  We delighted in the positivity we both felt at that moment - each having indulged in our morning coffees.  I love my bro - he totally gets it! (Can you tell I'm sipping as I write this?!)

New Product

Is it wrong that I LOVE my new cleaning product?  It's the Life Brand version of the Method (all natural) cleaning products.  ("Bio-Life" pear violet)

Coffee Addict

Ok - so I am now almost addicted to coffee.  I say almost because I don't think I would injure anyone for it yet...but I am definitely in the craving it stage!  How did this happen?  I survived a lot of years of college and university without becoming addicted.  I actually tried on several occasions to force-addict myself, to no avail.  I could never stand the taste.  It was all about the bad coffee taste!  However, I have recently discovered ways around the bad taste...namely, chocolate!  My new thing - coffee with hot chocolate.  Kinda like a home-made mocha..just not quite as good.

So, in the morning, I find myself planning out when I can devour my 2 cups of chocolate coffee.  I usually have time when my girls are eating breakfast.  But, because there are two of them and one of me, I find myself drinking the two cups (ok - yes, that is 4 cups in 'coffee-maker-language) quite quickly.  I have discovered this gives me quite the rush of positivity.  (Side note: why did I start with 2 cups you ask?  I don't know...I think I may have ground too many beans the first time or something)  Anyways, when I'm almost done cup number 2 (ok, 4), my 3 yr old is often asking me to engage in some sort of dress-up or dance activity and I am SO VERY WILLING to participate.  No one ever told me about the euphoric rush I could get after devouring some black liquid energy.  But if you're a coffee drinker and you're denying the fact that you are addicted to some kind of positive personality enhancer, you're living in the dark!

So, I find myself sitting here, drinking my first ever afternoon cup of chocolate.  Who knows what the afternoon will bring now after this new jolt. Woo Hoo!

Wanna know what else I hate?

Ok...there are lots of things, but the most recent one that just happened to me is:

putting in a load of laundry, forgetting about it for two days and then having to re-do said load for fear of mold that may have grown on it.

Shopping Trip

Do you ever go to Costco and spend $255 and then come home, scour the cupboards and think to yourself, "there is nothing to eat here!".  I hate it when that happens!

Bandwagon Family

Yep. We even let Zia stay up to watch the game last night. Go Canucks Go! Z so enthusiastically caught Canucks fever from her daddy last night. What else could she do when she saw her daddy cheering and dancing around the family room shirtless with such passion ? For a second it was a toss up - cheer with daddy or cry. Her positive attitude kicked in and she was shortly cheering, "Yeah! A goal! Woo Hoo! Cha - Chaaa!"
