"Are you lost?"
The Doctor looked up at the young woman in front of him. Was it that obvious? “Uh yes, I’m afraid I am.” The Doctor replied with a soft chuckle. “Would you be able to help me?”
The Doctor chuckled softly at Rose’s words before they headed down the street to a cafe the Doctor knew. “So, do you have a job?” He asked as they walked.
"No, actually. I’m more of a student." She said with a shrug. "Sciencey stuff. Space and all that" She said with a slight blush.
"A science geek?" The Doctor asked her with a wide grin. "That’s brilliant! I’m a science professor. I teach space and astronomy!" He said. This wasn’t a true lie…he did have the TARDIS and quite a lot of knowledge.
She grinned. “Wow. How convenient.” She said with a laugh. “Guess the world is smaller than it looks.”
The Doctor chuckled softly. “I wouldn’t say that. The world is quite large and this is only a small fraction of it.” He said.
"It’s to bad one doesn’t get to see all of it. And it keeps growing and changing. It’s quite… amazing" Rose said with sigh. "It’d be amazing to see it all"
The Doctor was silent for a moment, almost thinking of offering Rose a chance to come and travel with him. But he hardly knew her! They would just have to see. “How does this look?” He asked, indicating a cafe.
She nodded. “Looks go ta me.” She smiled. “I don’t get out much, obviously.” She joked.
The Doctor chuckled and opened the door up for Rose. “Don’t worry about it.” He teased her as he followed her into the small cafe.
"I don't" She said with a laugh. "It's why I don't get out much" She said with a shrug.
