like just imagine how cool it would have been to periodically see the scar throughout the years. like, it's faded and not as red and puffy now (it's a scar) but cas still touches it when he grips dean's shoulder and like!!! imagine seeing it during the moc arc!!! dean has a fresher scar on his arm and it is darkness and evil but then if he just. pulls up his sleeve a little. he'll see he's marked by goodness still, too. the moc fades and guess what!! he's still got it. it's always with him. it's a reminder that he deserves to be saved.
