Hi! The donghua ended at around the end of Book 2 ^^

a) To be honest I was hooked by Lie Huo from the very first arc, it's so action-packed, the world-building and genre is my jam, it was really /for me/. But what made me fall in love with it was the second arc...meeting Aluojin and knowing his and Sheng Lingyuan's story...it resonated a lot with me, and from there on I was a goner :')

b) Omg this is so hard...can't recite them per word but one would be about how all living things will have a place to stand in this world(fun fact, this quote appeared on the chapter update the day after Taiwan legalized same sex marriage so it was really memorable for me, I felt like it's such a beautiful coincidence); second would be the quote on the origin of Xuan Ji's name; and third would probably be "Dongchuan was his only home" or the last part of the QiuChun extra :')

But anyway, my #1 tip is use Baidu as your mtl, it's much more comprehensible compared to Google and QQ.

Next step: break the paragraphs apart. Baidu is very useful but sometimes it gets wonky when your paragraphs are too long, so feel free to press that Enter key between long paragraphs to break them apart.

Another tip: take note of the words that are not mtl-able. Sometimes, mtl will just give you a weird translation of some words, especially names of people and places. You just have to keep them in mind, and then just autocorrect in your mind while reading. Or if you're gonna keep a copy for personal use, at least it'd be easy to look for those wrong words then replace it with a proper one.

Baidu can do live-translating, which means when you highlight a portion of the raw text on the text box, it will show a hover text which shows you the mtl for that specific phrase/word.

Knowing the basic structure of Chinese grammar also helps so you'll know where to break apart long paragraphs ^^
