I tried on the sleeves with the shortened bodice underdress, I think the it works better shorter! The sleeves are difficult to put on with the giant camicia sleeves and the tired don't stay tied, I'll have to figure that stuff out. My Ever After Italian Renaissance gamurra underdress bodice is complete! The bodice is three layers and lightly boned with plastic boning. I tried it on with my camicia and short stays, I'll need to untie and hide the stays straps in the back for the final, but I think it's coming along nicely! I love my Edwardian tartan flannel walking suit, I finished it up earlier this year. The tartan is cotton flannel from Joann's, with poly black velvet and the matte side if maroon soon as trim. I also wore my shirtwaist and chatlaine that I made as well. The jacket is McCall's 7732 for the body, and Truly Victorian Eton jacket modified for larger puffs for the sleeves. The skirt is McCall's 5970, fully flatlined and interlined. I finished the video for the making of the jacket and posted today, link in the comments. I have one for the skirt as well. I've actually made quite a bit of progress on my Ever After ivory Gamurra underdress, I haven't gotten a pic yet, but here's a close up of the hand bound eyelets on the side. I've finished the bodice, it's three layers, silk top layer, canvas middle layer with some plastic boning support, and linen lining layer. I hand attached the lining to the bodice. It's all prepped to lace up and try on tomorrow, I'll get some pictures. My Regency short stays are done! I finished up the pink binding and grommets earlier today, and I tried it on with my Ever After camicia. These stays will be great for my Regency and Italian Renaissance stuff! I love all the colors I added, just for fun. The pattern for these is Laughing Moon. Spiral lacing, flat and spiral boning, and cording. The fabric is cotton twill. I've been working on Regency short stays using the Laughing Moon pattern that I used for my long stays. I decided I wanted this set to be embroidered, so I've added a bunch of green vine hand work. I've already added all the cording. I have a bit more embroidery to add, but I'm at the point I can put them together. I'm going to be using these for Regency as well as my Italian Renaissance stuff.
