For everyone that is/was concerned about the people in Central Kansas, we are fine. While I was delivering the Sunday paper earlier, it started to rain at about 1:30 and then changed to snow at about 2:30. It then started to snow hard and fast at about 4:00. I contacted my manager and told her how I could hardly see the road. She put my route on hold (for the complaints) until 9:00. It took me until 8:45 a.m. to due my route. I took my time, didn't panic, and only drove 10 to 15 mph until I got home. The snow has already melted and the sun's shining. It's still a little cold, but everything is fine.
Why do the idiots at the local news stations have to overkill a story? For over 6 hours last night and 1 & a half, all the stations talked about was the shooting in Heston. There was all kinds of news that was in ignored. People die in worst ways all the time. Yet all the stations did was talk about Heston and nothing else, not even the weather. We wound up watching The Waltons until I had to go to work at 11:30 last night.
jesus Christ woman there are starving people in the world and you want a pizza allowance from the government? How about you open a can of shut the fuck up and chew over the fact that your morbid obesity is a clear indication you've eaten quite enough pizza.

But now that you have, allow me to address you PUBLICLY without the cowardice that you have shown.
First, let’s talk about the starving children in the world. If I starve, does that help them eat? Nope.
Secondly, not that I have to justify SHIT to you, anonymous cowardly child… but at my work, my department decided we wanted to do some good and instead of continuing to pool money to celebrate the birthdays of our peers, decided we wanted to sponsor a child in need. We picked out a sweet boy from the Philippines and I’ll have you know that 30% of the money needed for that sponsorship came from whom? Oh, that would be me.
I’d LOVE to hear what YOU’VE done for actual starving kids this month. or ever. but I digress.
Next, let’s address my post. It was a fucking joke. And I feel really bad for you that you take life SO very seriously that you can’t have a chuckle at the idea that the government would pay for everyone to have pizza. Also, you might have noticed, being on tumblr, most people enjoy pizza. I’m not sure why you think it’s such a crime for ME to, but that’s your problem baby.
Finally, my weight. Your comment has clearly proven you know nothing about me or my life because you, like most dickheads, have assumed my weight gain is solely due to my “inability” to put down a fork.
But my dear, my doctor and I would be glad to disagree. Most people who know me know I eat very normally and not considerably excessively. And even if I cut out meats, sodas, meals, whatever… or push my body beyond capable limits to exercise, I never seem to drop any weight because my body isn’t processing properly. But since I don’t have health insurance, there’s not a lot to be done about that right now.
Now yes, when I was unemployed and even poorer, I didn’t get to make the healthiest choices because I had to make what little I had for groceries last, and that definitely had a very strong effect on the weight gain. And that sucked. But I wasn’t eating crazy amounts of food and a LOT of overweight people aren’t fat because they have no self control.
I would strongly suggest that you get educated about weight gain and loss and just how very many things can impact that. I also hope you have no loved ones with any “excess” fat because when you insult someone like me, you’re insulting all of us as if you have any idea what our lives are and you don’t.
And I feel really sorry for you that you are SO unhappy in your life that you can’t laugh at a joke about pizza without trying to hurt the feelings of someone you don’t know.
Thank you for standing up for people like me, Rikkisixx! Up to I was 12 years old, I looked like I was from Ethopia. I was made fun of because I was so skinny. I started to put on the pounds (thanks to dad not monitoring what I was eating, especially when he ate all kinds of junk food in front of me and handed over to me to eat). I was made fun of then because of my putting on the pounds. Then the parents got divorced and I sought solace in food. Then all kinds of stress during and after the divorce kept hitting me to where I couldn't lose the weight I gained because of comfort eating. I've been hitting food banks because I had lost jobs in the past (even just recently) or money was tight while I was going to school and the ex-husband was working, to where the bills were getting too high. I got divorced and was starving because the upstairs neighbor was stealing the money that I did get for food and other things needed. I'm still hitting the food banks because I don't have a job at the present.
I even help my brother and one sister, sometimes my mom, with the stuff I get. I can't eat certain things without getting sick. I've tried almost everything possible to lose the weight, but I can't afford the elective surgeries that are said to work. I'll keep looking.
