Yeahhhhhh I’m not gonna fight a kid. No thanks. Pick on someone your own size.
Vio shrugged a little, feeling self-conscious. “I mean, uh.. Doesn’t bother me too much.” He admitted. “He can wear my stuff until he gets his own.” Not that he thought Shadow would be around long enough for that.
Blue scowled at Shadow. “Hey, lay off him, he’s the only one ‘round here that’s talkin’ sense.” He defended. And he agreed with Red; mostly cuz he hated to see Shadow in Vio’s clothes. He looked too damn smug.
Shadow grinned smugly, “’course he’s okay wid me wearin’ ‘em,” he scoffed. Vio did owe him after all. “It’s kinda tradition ta wear the other person’s clothes after fuckin’ ‘em,” he grinned cheekily, finding great amusement in Red’s squeak.
“Oh my goddesses, Shadow,” Green sounded exasperated. “Have some decency, would you?” he finished the last bites of his breakfast and stood up. “That was great; thanks Red,” he smiled, ruffling up Red’s hair as he went to the kitchen to put his dishes in the sink. “Make sure Shadow gets some food, you hear?” he grinned. “I’m gonna head out in a bit. Zellie and I’ve got plans.”
Normally Blue would agree; Shadow was terrible at eating consistently, and some normal food would do him good. But with the way he was acting right now, Blue didn’t give a damn if he ate or starved. He moodily got to his feet, taking his dishes to the sink to scrub off his and Green’s.
Vio flushed at Shadow’s blunt statement, trying vainly to get it under control as he sat at the table. “Yes, Shadow, come and eat.” He nodded, beckoning him over before glancing to Green. “Tell Zelda we all say hello.”
Vio turned a little pink, but he nodded at Red’s question. “Ah, yes. I mean- yes, an extended stay here would probably warrant more than one change of clothes, you’re right.” He hoped Shadow would stay long enough to need more clothes, anyway.
Blue stabbed moodily at a pancake with his fork, scowling. “He can just magic up new clothes, he doesn’t need that.” He grunted. He’d seen Shadow pull plenty of tunics and shirts out of the shadows before- he was weak now, yeah, but that barely took any effort!
Shadow rolled his eyes, crossing his arms. “Or I could just continue ta wear Vio’s clothes,” he said flippantly, his lips twitching upwards in a slight smirk. “I mean, they’re comfy as hell.” He snickered slightly and turned his gaze to Red, eyeing him. “An’ I dun need Hylian clothes.”
“Well it might be a good idea just in case you can’t use your magic for a while,” Red defended weakly, frowning a bit in response. He glanced at Vio and asked, “is Vio okay with you using your clothes?”
Vio shrugged a little, feeling self-conscious. “I mean, uh.. Doesn’t bother me too much.” He admitted. “He can wear my stuff until he gets his own.” Not that he thought Shadow would be around long enough for that.

Blue glared angrily at the back of Vaati’s head, but this wasn’t the time for defiance- he had no idea where the hell he was, and running off right now would only make things worse. He scowled and trudged along behind Vaati, silent.
He tried to see what was in the cells as they passed, but somehow he couldn’t get a good look. (Maybe that was for the better.) His statement, though, made Blue balk. “You’re kidding- in here?!”
“I’m sorry, were you expecting a more comfortable place to stay?” He asked giving the hero a smile, though his voice was mockingly cold. The demon was just to tired to deal with this right now. He shoved Blue into the cell, shutting the barred door behind the hero, and locking it.
With a sigh Vaati walked down the hall, and out the door. He would finally get a chance to rest now.
If Blue was any cleverer, he would have tried to come up with some smart remark. He couldn’t think of anything in the few seconds before he hit the ground, grunting in pain. “Fuck.” He growled, rolling over to his back and rubbing his elbow where he’d landed on it.
This was.. gonna be a really, really long night. How the fuck was he gonna get out of here?

Shadow strolled over to the dining area, allowing Vio to get by. He leaned against the wall before the table, watching them in amusement, though completely ignoring Blue. Either he didn’t notice such tense atmosphere, or he just decided to ignore it completely. He scratched at his hickied collarbone, that was shown off so nicely by Vio’s undershirt.
“Shadow!” Red exclaimed, standing up. He had to decency to looked embarrassed by Shadow’s lack of dress. “You don’t have any other clothes, huh?” he bit his lip, looking over Shadow’s form. “We should probably get you some new ones…” Shadow looked a bit surprised at this, glancing over at Vio.
Vio turned a little pink, but he nodded at Red's question. "Ah, yes. I mean- yes, an extended stay here would probably warrant more than one change of clothes, you're right." He hoped Shadow would stay long enough to need more clothes, anyway.

“It is,” Vio agreed, “I like this more and more, the more I think of it. Heh. Skipping the awkwardness and just enjoying spending time with my hot date? It is fantastic.” He looked over to Blue out of the corner of his eye, hoping that comment had flustered him again.
It worked, to the degree that Blue's face reddened again. He chuckled a little, lightly nudging Vio with his shoulder. "Never really pegged you for a flatterer, Vi." He snorted.

“That sounds like fun, yeah.” Blue agreed, starting to relax a little. He shouldn’t be getting flustered or tense over this- it was just Vio, he already knew him well. “It’s the movies- you can’t NOT sneak candy in.” He snorted, nodding. “I’d like that.”
That was better. Blue didn’t seem near as confused or frustrated now. He was a little surprised with how pink Blue was, and how calm he felt himself. At the moment, he wasn’t flustered at all. “Then it is a date,” he replied, “and that makes two.”
"Yeah, we're already Malon' progress, huh?" Blue snorted, nodding. "Well, good- looking forward to it." A movie night with Vio sounded pretty nice, actually.
Blue shifted a little to allow Vio to more easily link arms with him, still a little pink. “Maybe we can go for a movie or something, whenever a good one comes out.” He suggested. If not, they could always just stay in and watch something together.
“Already thinking about a second date?” Vio asked, not an ounce of teasing in his voice, “I would like that, yeah. That would be fun. being honest, I always wanted to do that. There is something about those couples leaning into each other, sitting and enjoying something together for a few hours. We could make a day of it, if you like. We can have a nice little dinner together. Maybe sneak in some candy.”
"That sounds like fun, yeah." Blue agreed, starting to relax a little. He shouldn't be getting flustered or tense over this- it was just Vio, he already knew him well. "It's the movies- you can't NOT sneak candy in." He snorted, nodding. "I'd like that."
Now Blue was flushed, shoving his hands into his pockets as they walked. “Ah.. Yeah. It’s been nice.” Despite his words utterly failing, Blue did have to admit the afternoon had been nice. “We should do this more.” Dammit, he needed to get a better handle on his words. He sounded like an idiot.
Vio chuckled softly. Blue’s body language was really pretty adorable, he had to admit. Which was odd, come to think of it. Cute, dashing, handsome, sure, but adorable was not a word he would normally use to describe Blue. “We should,” he agreed. He gave him another look, then tried to link his arm with Blue’s, if he would let him

“Fine, yeah, sure.” Blue sighed, running a hand through his hair. While Vio may have been blessed with the ability to puzzle through things and adapt, Blue required a little more clarity. He didn’t process quite as well. “Let’s just.. Yeah. A walk is good.”
Now it sounded like Blue was just going along with it, making Vio start to question if he had been the one pursing it. It was Blue, though, right? Either way, it sounded like the window for this conversation had closed, and he would accept that. “Whatever it is, and whatever happens… I have had a good time with you tonight. Thank you, Blue.”
