Hey, I was wondering, do you think you could give me suggestions about first year housing at RU NB? There are just sooo many and I don't want to end up somewhere really uncomfortable for a whole year, you know? Thank you!
Hope I did not respond to this too late. First year housing is a bit of an earful. It can be a positive or negative experience, depending on who you ask. There isn't really anyway "uncomfortable". Some of the dorms get physically uncomfortable when the weather is warmer.
I guess some advice would be, just take things as they come to you, and put yourself out there. There will be cool people to meet on your floor/in your dorm, though don't put pressure on yourself to be best, life-long friends with everyone there.
The RA's are generally laid back and treat them with the level of respect you give them. Just get to know your RA as a human being, and they'll return that feeling.
