Bayo 1 and 2: so Bayo would never enter a relationship with Luka because of his immaturity and mortality. Luka's distrust and subsequent harassment of her due to the misunderstanding over his father's traumatic death made him resent Bayo for unjustified reasons. In addition, Bayo seems to have a stronger bond with Jeanne, to the point of going to Hell for her at the cost of her own life.
Bayo 3: ...And that's why we're pairing her up with Luka and giving them a kid for no apparent reason!
