The beast was no stranger to wandering into unfamiliar territory- whether by intent or accident, buildings were traversed by the creature upon occasion. Hollowed hues couldn’t help but examine the area they had come upon- wires snapping underneath feet, dimly glowing lights upon the walls; it would be a lie to say it didn’t look advanced. Small, tight, but technologically adapted. Odd that it was in the middle of their current forest; like it didn’t belong here. THAT WOULDN’T BE THE ONLY THING NOT BELONGING
For a while, only their footsteps and the structures own life were the only thing that greeted ears that didn’t truly exist. Then, there was smaller noises- much more natural in nature. It seemed to be far away, for a few seconds, until Varelsen realized the noises were from the same room as they were in. Movement, rustling; ivory cranium looked towards were it came from, moving some pieces- only to see the toddler playing with wires.
EMOTIONS AND THOUGHTS WERE QUICK CREATION
Feet moved at first to get close to the child, but it was only a seconds movement. The steps taken were nulled when they stepped back once more, thoughts of past actions coming forward- breaking the instant reaction to try to help the child; help was the instant thought, whether or not the child was injured, lost, or otherwise. No, now the creature stood stuck, unsure of which actions to take and ransacked by self-crafted fear and action.

Zherneboh’s ears perked up the instant his nose smelt the warm blood- tail flicked, that same hungry, predatory mannerism that always remained on the inky form. They let the other get close- close enough to place lips upon head. It wasn’t until the other was about to pull head back that the monstrosity let snake like tongue- rather, a whole bunch of them- slide between sharp teeth and lock together as if trying to hold the other there. With this, internal teeth deeper in pressed against the humans nose. But, this came to just be a small bite much like the animal they mocked my gave while playing.
Tongues slid back, the creature chuckling as they did. Saliva, blacker then the creature itself, started to drip from their maw. Obviously, Zherneboh was playing as always. Such a fan of playing with what they simply considered to be a meal. They knew better then to pull anything.
