Fun Fact for all you skeptics out there: Police killing are getting worse. #Every8Hours is getting dangerously close to becoming more frequent

Here’s the orbital period of our solar system’s 8 major planets (how long it takes each to travel around the sun). Their size is to scale and their speed is accurate relative to Earth’s. The repetition of each GIF is proportional to their orbital period. Mercury takes less than 3 months to zoom around Sol, Neptune takes nearly 165 years.
Fun fact: Neptune has only made one complete orbit since its discovery in 1846, which, in a way, means we only discovered it a year ago.
WHAT. ABOUT. PLUTO. (It takes Pluto 248 Earth years to orbit the Sun. I will never give up on considering Pluto a planet.)
This is me expressing my opinion about tumblr’s latest way of shoving ads on our faces update.

Brilliant.
I recently read “Don’t make me think” (I very recommend it!) and it changed my vision of the web. I think that the most interesting part was the accessibility part. I never thought about color blind people on the web, they are the 8% of the world population, a lot of people! (something like 560...
