@Everyone

// Hey there everyone, I just want to send out a general apology for completely vanishing off this blog. My OC muse took over my RP ability, so I’ve been spending most of my time there.

I still don’t have much muse for Sebastian, so I’m putting this blog on a semi-hiatus until otherwise indicated. I have all the threads I’m aware of owing in my drafts box. I promise I’ll get back to most of them at some point.

This is terribly timed, but muse is fickle - I’m really sorry everyone!

If you want to find me and keep interacting, I’m active over HERE on my OC blog for my girl-gang leader, Jennalynn. Also don’t be afraid to ask for my contact info if you wanna talk ooc! I have skype and kik that I’m willing to share!

God, she hated this, hated being weak. Thankfully it was Sebastian and not anyone else, but she still didn’t like admitting that her nightmares had this much power over her. She kept her back to the door, fighting to regain control.

“I’m fine,” she said, after a long moment. Her voice was even, almost completely normal. She lied for a living, after all. “Sorry, just- didn’t recognize my surroundings for a second there.”

Sebastian was nothing if not perceptive, and even though she had done very well to keep her voice steady, he picked up on a bit of what lay beneath. Perhaps it was best that he didn’t ask. “I hate bad dreams,” he said, leaning in the doorway almost casually. He knew it was an understatement. “Do you need anything?”

Understanding was something that just came with the territory of their friendship, and Sebastian knew that Maisy would do the same for him if the roles were reversed. Probably.

“Whatever, ‘Bas,” she huffed, thinking over his question.. Her room was upstairs. And she honestly did not feel like walking.. “No. Up. Now,” she ordered, holding out her arms to indicate she wanted him to carry her. It wasn’t the first time and it wouldn’t be the last, “Think of it as a before bed work out. I am a weight. Now, get me to my room before I fall over.”

Sebastian just barely managed to resist rolling his eyes at her metaphor. Thankfully he had enough sense of self-preservation to know that doing so would be a mistake. “Whatever you say, boss,” he said, sarcasm only barely coloring his voice as he walked over to her and obeyed her direction.

Her room was really not very far away, so it didn’t take more than a few minutes before he was setting her down in her room.

If she knew where her things were to throw, she would have… All she knew was that there were shelves against most the walls, and reaching out she was able to swipe one of these empty. Loud thuds on the floor and the sound of breaking ceramic. Not like it mattered. She could no longer enjoy any of her things..

“I don’t need adjustment!” she barked, still lost in the room, pacing again as she tried to hide the fact, bare feet narrowly stepping on shattered glass.

Sebastian didn’t even flinch with the crashes. He did, however, go immediately on alert. Something in him was just certain that it was only a matter of time before she stepped on one of the broken shards and cut her feet.

“You don’t have a choice,” he said, his voice low and cautious. “This is reality, and you’re going to have to adapt to the hand you’ve been dealt.”

She sighed impatiently. A question was not a reaction. She wanted a reaction… But she supposed that could wait..

“The gun had a blank in it, love. Mix that with a fake blood pack stuck under my head.. When I hit the ground it bust, perfect effect. They dragged my body off, it was replaced and… I went away for a while,” Jillian told him. He didn’t need to know further details. All he needed to know was that she was here, back for him. She hoped he understood that through her being here.. Jillian had missed him too much to stay away.

Sebastian held eerily still as she explained herself. It was few words, and not nearly what he had expected, but it did the job. He got the gist.

There were a thousand things he could have said to her in return, hundreds that he really wanted to say to her. But somewhere between his brain and actual spoken words, something malfunctioned - speech was not going to get his point across today.

He stepped closer to her, hands flexing impatiently, and stopped mere inches from her. He met her eyes with an intense expression meant to hold her there and there was a distinct pause where the air itself was still.

He pulled her close, then, wrapping his arms around her.

Of course he was surprised. Everything had been perfect. She had gotten the cadaver altered… Used a blank in the gun at the right angle.. Thing had left her with a nasty sore throat, but..

“Not impossible,” she told him, pushing a tendril of hair behind her hair and walking towards him despite the danger in his voice. That had always been something she liked… He was dangerous, even to her. It was exciting.. Though right now it was also a bit frightening. “Simply put- not dead.”

His emotions were flying at improbable speeds, not something he was used to anymore. The first few months had been terrible, but after three years he had adapted, had almost forgotten...

Almost, but not quite.

Part of him wanted to yell. Part of him wanted to hold her and never let go. Part of him wanted to kill her himself.

Part of him wanted to kiss her.

His voice didn’t capture all his words, but it captured all his questions. “H-how...?”

Jillian raked her teeth over her lower lip as she stood in the door way, shoulders back and chin up, poised as always. A smile on her lips as she tilted her head, watching him. Dear Sebastian.. He probably was very cross with her…

“Hello, tiger,” she said, her voice softer now, less composed as she finally met his eyes, staying where she was. Until she was sure of his reaction, she wasn’t about to approach him.. “Did you miss me?”

Sebastian didn’t dare believe his eyes. It wasn’t as if this was the first time he had imagined her to be there, but usually she didn’t speak, not like that anyway. Usually if she spoke at all it was simply remembered things that stuck out in his mind from just before the fall.

That damned phrase Holmes had used came into his head. “What remains, however improbable, must be true.”

When he spoke, his voice was low, dangerous. “You... This is impossible. You’re dead.”

Three years had passed and now she was back. Her video was playing all over London. The detective was probably panicking by now… But she had other business to attend to before she could even worry about that man. No, she needed to see her sniper. Her lovely tiger. Sebastian.

She hummed something similar to Canon in D as she unlocked the flat she knew he’d be in- she had had him watched, of course.. Just in case… Her heels clicked as she walked through the flat, hearing something from one of the back rooms, she smirked a but and went to the door, pushing it open.

“Honey, I’m home.”

Sebastian had not seen the video that everyone else had. He had never been much for television anyway, and with all the broadcasts of Jillian’s suicide... There wasn’t even a TV in the flat. There were better ways, more targeted ways, of getting the information he had needed until Holmes had dismantled what remained of Jillian’s empire.

Sebastian had found himself other work in the year and change that had followed that, work that wasn’t nearly so underhanded, not nearly so bloody. He couldn’t really even bring himself to work with guns anymore, not after... He had forced it for a while, but now...

Needless to say, he was not expecting any guests. When her voice rang through the small room, his spine straightened and he froze, chills running up his back, posture eerily perfect. Slowly, he turned around.

“I’m sure you got it right. You always do,” she noted matter-of-factly, hand reaching out gingerly to feel for the familiar packaging her sushi usually came in. She hadn’t noted the fact small droplets of blood were tracing down her arm. Her whole body felt a bit feverish- a side effect from her new medications. The warm, thin trails weren’t noticed.

Sebastian had not thought much of the marks on her arms until he realized they were deep enough to draw blood. “You’re bleeding,” he said, unsure if he was pointing out the obvious or not. “Do you want me to take care of that for you?”

There is no God, because I cut him out: I took some scissors to my chest, I carved every last part of him out of my heart. I felt nothing as I tore out that radiance;  I have no need for a god – I am my own deity. I dug my own claws into my chest and  I threw back my head and howled.  There is no God:  I tore him out. I dug my nails into him and screamed.

They called me a sinner; I have no need for sainthood. I am a god. (CNS)

HEY GUYS if a thread is boring (you lost muse, you’re just not into it) then DROP IT! i don’t give a fuck, i’d rather you drop it than have you force yourself to reply to a thread that you don’t want to write anymore. no hard feelings, just ditch it, drop it like a hot potato. erase it from your memory, get rid of it. and if you come up with a better thread, just send a message or post a starter.
