i still think a lot of u are blowing it out of proportion. tumblr said themselves they r working on getting the problem fixed i really dont think they would shut down the entire website just cuz the app got removed

If you’re worried about your blog, here’s what you do:
- Make sure you know your password and have access to the email tied to your Tumblr account
- If you blog is terminated, content deleted or whatever it is Tumblr’s fucking up at the moment, contact Tumblr support and tell them what happened. They should be able to restore your blog, they have done so before in other cases where blogs have been shut down on accident
#yeah like#I understand feeling panicky when this thing is literally stuck together with masking tape#but if you google around you'll see them talking about exactly why the app went down and how they're actively working to get it back up#(also)#(as long as there is A N Y money coming in off this hellsite they aren't about to abandon ship)

I still think that my favorite urban legend/folklore fact is that there are certain areas in New Orleans where you cannot get a taxi late at night not because it isn’t safe, but because taxi companies have had recurring problems of picking up ghosts in those areas who are not aware that they are dead and disappearing from the cab before reaching the destination and therefore stiffing the driver on the fare causing a loss for the company.

gamecube was the best designed controller of all time exclusively for the button cluster that gave you easy thumb roll access to all buttons but also gave you the a button as a thumb rest (because it’s the one you press the most) and took into account the frequency with which each button gets pressed in its design rather than doing the stupid diamond design that gives no button priority and rests your thumb in the shitty blank space between buttons
