Jakkai are named after their most prominent feature (determined by clan elders) after they are hatched. When they become 10 years old, they can choose their own first names by expressing themselves through art.

I've been wondering, what animal/s is Lakritz based on? I can see dragon elements, but his webbed feet suggest an amphibian like creature. Idk, I'm just curious 🤔😁
Lakritz is influenced by marine iguanas and leopard sharks, but I honestly didn't think that hard about it. I just wanted to draw a cutie
I'd think twice before giving any of these Demon kids business at their stands. Azurai, however, doesn't even think once. 🍧
