I’m confused

I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately, so I just wanted to ask. 

Yesterday my younger confessed to my mother and said she way a lesbian. 

My mama, started to yell at her calling her names and things, but what I don’t understand is that my mama had girlfriends and boyfriends she’s bi. She introduced us to that kind of life at a young age. So what I’m trying to ask is that if you seen something like that at a young age, Would you think it’s ok?
