With the current economy, small businesses are in trouble. Our sales mostly come from conventions where we sell pre-made guns and accessories. I know it doesn’t look like it. “Oh, look at her, she’s so young and so French and so short… she had to drop out of college… what good can she ever do?” Well, I can do a lot of good if you just help me out. I know you read my posts, you like my things, but this is one of the few times I’ve asked for something in return. My family knows I’m not one to beg or to ask for things. I’ve traveled and rarely have I asked for gifts from my mother because I knew we could not afford anything extravagant. And I know it sometimes sounds like I’ve come to pester people at this point with this link, but this is something I’m genuinely interested in. Steampunk means the world to me. The people I’ve met have given me more than enough reason to move on and gain control of my life. This, this link right here, this is my asking for a little something so that I can not only make something of myself, but something of my community, my world. To my family, the friends I’ve grown up with, you’ve known that I’ve dreamt of rocking the world, and these are what I hope to be my stepping stones. I’m not a nobody, not to these people. I’m a someone, and that someone is getting somewhere, whether I’m ready to realize this or not.
