Added shredded chicken & taco seasoning to the mozzarella shells I've been making and it tasted just like Taco Bell quesadillas. Ugh, so good. According to MFP, 252 calories and 3 net carbs (excluding sour cream, 312 calories and 5 net carbs with it). #keto #whoneedstacobell

You can discover your favourite band when you’re in your late twenties. You can meet your best friend when you’re in your thirties. You can finally accomplish a life goal when you’re in your fifties. Your youth isn’t the only time frame where amazing, life-changing things can happen.

A message to the moms…

You’re doing a great job.

Comparison is the thief of joy. As a mom, it’s so easy to fall into that trap. Whether you’re comparing your kid to someone else’s (Why isn’t my kid doing that yet? / My kid has been doing that forever. / I don’t have that toy for my kid— are they being stimulated enough?) or comparing yourself to another mom (How does she have so much time to do that? Why can’t I work out like that?), you’re doing a great job.

Questions you should ask yourself:

  • Is my kid happy? Clean (relatively)? Clothed properly according to size and weather? Fed? Loved and cared for?

If you answered yes to those, you’re doing a great job.

Don’t let comparison steal your joy. Being a mom is hard enough without comparing yourself or your kid to others.

You’re doing a great job.

Took big brother truck or treating today. Got a bit too cold so Rory and I hid out in the truck to keep warm.

Since doing the gestational diabetes thing again, I've had no problem the past 11 weeks monitoring my food and sticking to plan. Then BAM! 35 weeks hits and I'm starving allllll the time. I'm guessing maybe a growth spurt?

Next growth scan is Thursday. They haven't quoted her weight for me since 6lbs at 34 weeks. Interested to see if I need to buy NB sized diapers or not. lol
