Kpop fans think they know everything about being an idol the fact they want Lee sungyeol to leave or think a member is useless because they cant hit a high note or keep up with complex dance moves just proves it there are at least four roles to a popular idol group singing, dancing, visual and entertainment/variety and sungyeol fills that entertainment section brilliantly

I agree with you anon, sungyeol is really great on variety shows. his personality really shines through in the best way. whether it’s his inner competitive spirit during competitions or hes laughing at his own pranks, or he’s helping another member during a hard time, he has a really beautiful personality and it constantly gets overlooked because he’s “talentless??” He gets picked on pretty regularly during shows and interviews but he takes it on his chin and usually just ends up laughing along with the other members.

but entertainment isn’t the only thing sungyeol is good at.

Infinite is recognised for their perfectly synchronised dancing. They did not get this title through sloppy dance work and useless members. I know sungyeol isn’t the best dancer but he has improved sooo much during and since debut and he practices sooo hard to keep up with the others (not always easy with dongwoo and hoya in the group). There are videos of rehearsals were sungyeol is literally crying from the strain he is putting himself through in order to do his best.

The same with his singing. Although woollim refuses to give him many lines in songs, he still puts in sooo much practice and passion to be his best. In the 24 hours album, sungyeol literally writes how proud he is of himself that he only had to record his vocal parts once and he hopes that inspirits will be proud of him too. this still sticks with me because I remember I happy I was when I read it. He deserves to feel proud of himself and he certainly deserves to have other people feel proud of him.

sungyeol is also the second visual of the group and although this isn’t exactly a “talent,” he really is beautiful. both inside and out. he deserves to be recognised for more than just his looks. and he deserves to be recognised for more than just being the tallest member of infinite. I pray that woollim continue to give him more lines so I can hear more of his lovely voice and I wish his drama success so I can watch more of his brilliant acting.

Although this reply was a lot longer than I intended, it doesn’t even begin to describe how talented, wonderful, caring and inspiration lee sungyeol is. I hope this negativity towards sungyeol ends soon because I assure you, lee sungyeol is only improving and he isn’t going anywhere.

Myungyeol - Myungsoo rents a real helicopter for Sungyeol and they take flying lessons together (or something of that idea, I'm not good with prompts OTL) ^_^

“yah. where the hell are you dragging me?” sungyeol was now shooting daggers in myungsoo’s back who was not listening to him. 

“Ok now put this on .” he handed him a cute monkey blind fold. they were standing in front of the elevator of the highest building in Seoul.

“what? are you kidnapping me now. at least do it with a bit action.” sungyeol snort.

myungsoo just made him wear the fold and push him in elevator.

sungyeol was a bit scared just then a a pair of arm wrapped around his waist making him closer to myungsoo’s warmth. sungyeol smiled.

“Happy birthday baby.” he whispered against his ear.

ten minutes later.

“do you even know how to fly this thing.” sungyeol was now shouting.

“you said we both are going to learn.” myungsoo whined.

“learning with an instructor,, not like this you idiot.   ahhh watch out you stupid head”

“sir you two can come out of the plane your time is over”

both male came out of the computer helicopter found in the game zone.

“I thought it would be real.”

“the experience was more exciting than real.” myungsoo smiled sheepishly,

but sungyeol ignored him.

“oh come on, we will try it some time.” myungsoo back hugged the elder, who struggle a bit but as soon as myungsoo’s lips found his neck he sigh at the contact.

“and I love you too.”
