It's so great to see that maybe there will be an Animorphs graphic novel!? And your samples look lovely, too bad they went for sonething else! Does that mean that they've found someone else to draw it already? And who are "they" anyway?? Greetings from a curious Animorphs fan who once made a comic based on the books and would very much like to see an official adaption! ':D
Katherine Applegate mentioned on twitter a while back that Scholastic was moving forward with a graphic novel, and I got contacted a little while back to test for it, so that’s who/what the pages were for! I’m not sure what the status of it is right now, or who they’re going to eventually go with, but I’m looking forward to whatever comes out!
Finally got the OK to post these: I got a chance to do some sample pages for a potential Animorphs graphic novel. They ended up deciding to go in a different direction, but I’m real happy with how these turned out! I love these characters and adapting parts of the first book into comic format was satisfying and challenging and fun. Especially figuring out how the heck to draw morphing! And what clothes to give everyone! This whole process made me want to work harder to make my own thing I love as much as this.

I’m working on something hard so I stress-drew some Dungeon Critters fanart!! Go read it, imo!!!! they got fancy outfits in issue 2, which is one of my fave fiction tropes.
issue 2 of Dungeon Critters by Sara Goetter and Natalie Riess is out, so I drew my Dungeon-Critters-sona: a drunk pikachu in a ballgown. I am very original!!!
