literally Starbucks keeps releasing drinks on social media and not communicating it to employees so people are coming in like can I have a cupcake frappuccino and im like who are you what the fuck are you talking about
Over the past few months, and internal investigation has been going on about the ethics of my leadership. Turns out, when my baristas were talking about their sex lives, I wasn't allowed to talk about mine. Nor any of my dating life. When my baristas would come in sad, I would try to cheer them up. I would sometimes poke them or grab their side to make them laugh. And during my breaks I would be on snapchat and have ask the baristas some questions on it. Apparently that made them all "uncomfortable" and got me the ax. No write ups or anything. Just straight up termination. So yeah. I will be terminating my administrative account on here. Thanks for being so fun everybody.
This is the new VCU Cabell Library Starbucks. Ranked #3 in the nation for transactions and volume. I'm wondering, do any of you work at a high volume store with three espresso machines? How does that work out?
Okay so I'm kinda mad. I work at a store in downtown Chicago. There is marketing on every CTA train stop for mobile order and pay. Then the company makes us switch menu boards, hiding THE MENU, for more marketing purposes. How are new customers going to order in a speedy time if there is no menu? It makes them angry and confused with no menu. Please change this Starbucks. Thanks.
It's August and yes I have three cases of this at home for mixers
Is anyone else like really upset that people didn't like the Race Together campaign or is that just me?
Yessssssss
I can't drink coffee (stomach ulcers suck) and as far as I know Starbucks doesn't sell ginger tea (although if I'm wrong that'd be great). However, my friends always want to go and I feel awkward just hanging out at a table without getting anything. Would I be totally hated if I ordered a tall hot water and made my own tea? I'd expect to pay for it. I just know the dislike around Trenta waters and don't want to be part of that. Thanks!
Do not feel bad ordering anything! If you want a tall hot water, get it. We won't be mad if you make your own tea.
I need a Zelda pun but I don’t want to triforcing it.
customer: "I'll have a venti mocha with half the pumps of mocha" Me: "So you want 2 instead of 4?" Customer: "No I want half." -_-
But a venti comes with 5 sooooo
"I'll have a soy eggnog latte" -.-
ya nasty
Customer: I would like a cappuccino.
Barista makes cappuccino…”Venti Cappuccino at the bar!”
Customer: Excuse me, this has foam. I don’t want foam.
Barista: Oh ok, well, this is a cappuccino, so it is going to be mostly foam. Were you wanting a latte? That’s mostly milk and you can have the foam left off.
Customer: I know what I ordered, it’s what I always get. I want a cappuccino with no foam.
Barista: Yes m’am. Barista makes latte…”Venti cappuccino at the bar!”
Customer: Finally. That’s better.
Barista: Stares….
Heller fellow barista and/or barista-bro, I enjoy your blogs very much! & the questions people ask you are very entertaining! I do have a question though, which season of the year is your favorite, as a barista/barist-bro?
Definitely the winter
